Amazon Grocery, Cut Green Beans, 14.5 Oz (Previously Amazon Fresh, Packaging May Vary)

These Amazon Grocery Cut Green Beans turned out really good. We cooked them the same way we’ve always cooked green beans, and they came out tasting great. The texture was just right, not mushy or anything like that. It’s a standard 14.5-ounce can, so you know about how much you’re getting size wise. It’s a normal size can. One thing my wife liked was how simple the ingredients are. It’s just green beans, water, and salt. That’s always nice to see. They’re really easy to use. Just open the can, heat them up the way you like, and they’re ready to go. Doesn’t get much easier than that. The can did show up with a small dent in it, and Amazon suggested I mention that in creating the review. Honestly, it wasn’t a big deal to me. The food inside was perfectly fine, and that’s what matters most. I’d still give these five stars and would definitely buy them again.

Great price! Ingredients seem good not to high in sodium which is great. Very fresh and taste wonderful! Get a lot in the can and we love these!

Beans are good quality at a very good price. Comparable to any name brand IMHO. I use to add to soups, to nicoise and three bean salads, etc. With a dab of butter and a drop of lemon juice, good quick side dish. Decent expiry date. Unfortunately, out of the 6 cans, 4 are badly dented. That was a big disappointment. Packaging was in a box, so must have been dented in the warehouse. Sp, only 3 stars. Second follow up review: Since I like the beans, which even stood up well in a 3 bean salad, I re-ordered. Packaging was great, with crumpled paper snugly all around in the box, and all cans were in pristine condition. Good job, I will definitely reorder, since they are such a good value.

I started buying green beans through Amazon because I was tired of getting to the store and they not have the product on the shelf. Or I would buy the generic brand and the green beans were tough or had tough strings on them. By then bought the expensive brand and found they were no different. So I thought I’d give Amazon a try. The Amazon brand is tasty, but also has the same problem as all the other brands. I feel that quality control is out the window everywhere. But on a positive note, they always seem to be in stock and I can get them delivered to my front door.
