Me and My Large Grey Igloo Pet Bed

Some people moved house leaving the poor cat behind 3 years ago - when I moved into this street the cat kept coming over for affection and food. I used a small old dog crate which I wrapped in tarpaulin to waterproof it and bought this very reasonably priced bed to put inside for warmth, I personally turned this bed inside out because the snuggly bit was on the outside, I wonder why? The cat, which we have named after the street, Mr Willingham loves it! It's warm, big enough for him to curl up in and he told me in meow language he likes the cocoon shapeFor those that wonder, we have indeed welcomed him into the house but having dogs he prefers his bed outside - this is a supreme bed, padded and fluffy also easy to chuck in the washer. I'm impressed, Mr Willingham is too and so will you be.

Lovely, but check size before buying. It turned out far too small for my small cat.

With two fur babies, one a 7 month old Rag doll kitten who is going to be very big when she eventually stops growing and an 11 year old very large British Short Hair boy. I already had an igloo which was my boys but when the new baby came she took over his igloo which as you can imagine didn't go down at all well with him. After some months of watching these two fighting over the igloo I decided it was time to buy another one. When it came my kitten went straight into it and my boy also had to try it out and he hasn't left it. It's a perfect size for him. I have it and the other igloo sitting on the settee with both fur babies finally happy which means I'm happy as peace and quiet have been restored. The igloo is well made and quite sturdy and has a nice comfy mat to help make those long hours of sleep more enjoyable and I believe it's value for money. I would most definitely recommend it.

Delivery was very quick. When opened i didn't expect it to be so big but that's what I wanted as my catten ( cat teenager) is getting bigger so I wanted more space for her to grow. The height is spacious so there's plenty of room for her as she grows. The material is a velvety feel, it's dome shape is holding well. The reason I didn't give this 5 stars is the mat that comes with it is very thin you need to add a cat cushion or blanket to add some comfort into it, once I added these my catten likes it, because she is still a little small I can't actually see her when she's laying in it, it's quite deep so I need to shine a light in to see if she's in there, she prefers enclosed spaces so she loves it, price was reasonable enough for it especially because of the size. Advice for anyone thinking of getting this, just make sure you also buy a cat mattress or blanket aswell.

This is a nice looking and well sized hideaway for a cat. It can take a large cat, (e.g. maine coon cross)and is comfortably upholstered. My cat uses it to escape when others are visiting, but only rarely. I placed it near his usual sleeping area, but he steadfastly ignored it. I sprayed it with catnip, and he still ignored it. Its only when he has little alternative to hide somewhere that he comes to the igloo. But I see others have had better luck, so its just one of those things - maybe an older cat just doesn't like change :-)

Item was delivered on time.. it's very good value for money, and our cat took to it immediately.... She only comes out for necessities 😻

This is more suitable for kitten than mature cat.
