RTV 3428 A+B is a food approved silicone rubber that can be used for the production of moulds for chocolate, sugar, marzipan and for producing decorative sugar, pieces of bakery, biscuits and confectionery products. It is a two component silicone elastomer that crosslinks at room temperature by polyaddition reaction. The polymerisation can be accelerated by heat (max. 150 °C). The silicone components are delivered as two component low viscosity liquids, which once mixed and cured, transform into an elastic and resistant moulding material. Polymerisation occurs without formation of heat. RTV 3428 has a shore hardness of 28 and is exceptionally strong with excellent tear strength. Safety and technical data sheets available
