Never had a problem with rodents. The tumbler isn't in contact with the ground, and I doubt they'd be able to gnaw through the plastic while clinging on to the smooth metal legs. If this is your first tumbler, it may be helpful to tell you that I've never known any composter to produce perfect, friable compost as quickly as the maker claims. However, they do produce good compost eventually, and this type is easier to turn than most - the traditional type gets hard to turn when it's half full. Hope that helps.

Amazon has collapsed several similar items to one page, with size options. The 100 gallon tumbler is to 50 gallon tumblers on one frame.

Q: Is there anywhere in the UK where you can get spare parts? My 80 year old father has managed to bend one of the locking pins that stop it turning...
