Simple and fun
These are so simply, but so much fun. Bought as stocking stuffers for Christmas for my son (age 9) and he loves them, along with his 4 year old brother. They like to throw them as they jump on the trampoline and watch them float down. Roll the string loosely around the parachute guy, give them a good throw up in the air and they come floating back down. Great gift for boys and could even be great party favors!

Work well and tangle-free
I purchased these to drop from my remote control airplane. What fun! The kids in the park love to chase them down, and they look beautiful on descent. Love that they come in different colors as well. Highly recommend these!

Does not work as expected
The colors and packaging made us excited to try these out, but we have yet to manage to get then to function as they should. Quite disappointing.

Netting instead of strings, so no tangles. Well made.
The media could not be loaded. Right out of the tube, I noticed that the quality of this toy far surpasses the quality of the ones that I played with as a youth. The plastic man is thick, heavy plastic and smooth with no sharp edges. The material is a nice weight and there are no strings, so it doesn’t get all tangled up. Instead of strings, it has black netting sewn to the parachute. I tested it out while standing on the ground, standing on my porch, standing in a pickup bed and even from our upstairs loft inside the house. All the tests worked well. Of course the higher you are, the longer the flight. See my video to view all the variations of test flights. I discovered that it works best to hold the top of the parachute when tossing them in the air. If you hold the plastic guy to toss, then the parachute catches too much air on the way up and usually ends up spinning and crashing to the ground. When I dropped them from my upstairs loft, I decided to make it more interesting, by placing targets on the floor below and trying to land on the target. That was a fun twist. I used a drone landing pad and I also used a throw rug and a laundry basket for targets. Most of these attempts can be seen in my video. The plastic tubes they came in, work well to store the parachutes in. Surprisingly, they fold up and fit easily back into the tubes. When rushed for time, I don't even bother folding, I just stuff them in there and they go in easily and fast. The tubes keep the individual parachutes from getting tangled up with each other. I had a lot of fun testing these out and I think my grandkids will like them, too, when they come to visit.

Parachute toy
Selected these for my boys stockings. I was so excited as it reminded my of my childhood. The boys absolutely loved them however it is very hard for them to use them. You have to grab the middle of the parachute and throw it up. The parachute very rarely opens and it just falls to the ground. While it was a nostalgia item for me it wasn't very kid friendly for them.

Fun and colorful
These parachute men were a little cheaper made than I would have liked. The materials were very fragile and the fabric was super stiff. They still worked in regards to the playing purpose of the toy, but I don’t expect them to last long with three boys under 8. Hopefully the fun will last as long as they do.
