Jumbo Caribbean Hammock and Metal Tribeam Stand (MOCHA)

So far I like this unit quite a lot, but I see some large knots in the natural wood they used for the rods, I've seen other reviews showing theirs busted right at the knot, I hope mine holds. Other than that, the material and workmanship are great and it is so comfy and large. I am 6'5" and pushing 300 lbs these days, and was a little afraid to even try to get a hammock. This one is for two people so I figured I'd be safe, and sure enough, once I did the initial stretching process it works wonderfully (you have to string it up as tight as you can and then lie in it a bit to pull it out some more and re-tension it a time or two). The stand seems well made and is very stable, I never feel like it might tip over when getting in and out of the hammock.Mine sits in the sun most of the day so I prefer to take it down and roll it up when I am not using it. I am paranoid about sun and water damage, I want to make it last as long as possible. It's not too cumbersome to do so, though I leave the frame where it is. The frame snaps together without tools so I could see taking it apart as well to move it or store it without any major pains.

The hammock was easy to assemble, is very sturdy, and well made but, we had to stretch the Hammock very taught by doubling the chains over themselves before we got the hammock just tight enough not to sag with our weight. My husband and I enjoy snuggling on the hammock out on our shady deck listening to the symphony of the southern Cicadas (katydids) lullaby us into all that is well in the world. My grandchildren ages 6 thru 9 climb in it together to enter their imaginary adventures together or just like us, play on their electronics or read books. We don't know how it will weather since we keep it under the roof on the backyard deck so it is not exposed to the elements. The weave is tight but allows some air to flow through keeping the temperature of the hammock and our bodies cool. I love to cool down and relax in it after a vigorous outdoor workout before showering. Worth every penny!!!

Great hammock for a good price it is a little long by the time you get it fully assembled elite quite a bit of room to set it up but that's the nature of the beast very comfortable

This hammock is sooooo comfortable. The hammock itself is made out of sturdy and thick fibers. The metal stand was assembled in two minutes max. I'm 5'6", and have tons of room. It could easily fit two people. I'm really happy with the quality, especially for the price, and the quick shipping. This is a great deal. I highly recommend it!

Very high quality and very comfortable. I have never seen one this nice before. Well worth the money. Not getting much work done around the house since I got this. Put on some Jimmy Buffet and grab a margarita, lay down and you're in paradise!

I debated which hammock to buy and ultimately spent a little more on this one. The quality is great and our family of four can all lounge together! It was a great gift for my husband. The red color is lovely.

I love this hammock! But the wood is cracking. I got it in late September so I’ve had it in a bag in its original box. I finally took it out now that it’s summer. I’ve never left it in the rain - and the wooden bar is starting to split. I love the hammock as far as comfort ability. I found buying some heavy duty carribeaners helped with putting it up and down. But I’m pretty upset that for such an expensive hammock the wooden bar is cracking already. Is there any way to fix this? If it can be fixed I will up my rating!
