I’ve been looking for something to put in my dreads other than boring stretchy bands. These are perfect! The seller puts a lot of work into these & they are very high quality. I love to use them when I want to wear my dreads half up & they are also great for when I wear them up and want to hold up the shorter dreads in back that usually fall down. They feel very comfortable and stay in place all day long! I highly recommend if you have dreads! I’m sure they work great for non dreaded hair too. Thanks so much, I love them & will be ordering more!

Love the quality- colors, sturdiness and craftsmanship. Gorgeous.Dislike- these won't work for a pony tail. I am a senior with fine hair which is below average in thickness. If you look at the photo the barrette looks large and it is. Yet the holes for the pick are placed for a small opening.Perhaps this will work for a child's ponytail.They are so pretty I need ideas on how to use these to decorate a craft with.

I bought the blue one and the brown one. They are cute, good quality. I even got an extra stick and a leather key chain which is very nice. I read a review about someone needing to use a ponytail first, definitely not the case with our hair as we have dreadlocks. My 7 year old is pictured with the blue butterfly. Blue is her favorite color and she loves it. Thank you!

I love leather....it bends and doesn't break! These are Large size and I love that too. Also, the holes for the wooden sticks are large enough to use another wooden stick that you may already have (longer or more ornate). Other than that: 1) will hold thin hair, 2) shipped fast, 3) excellent quality and....I was very happy with this purchase!

My wife loves these butterflies. I ordered a couple others for her previously. The only drawback is they didn't come with any sticks! She is currently using a stick from the other one so she can wear it. Contacted the seller...hoping she will get her sticks soon! Beautifully made leather products and great service.

Way back in the 70’s, I used this type of leather barrette. I was surprised to find someone that makes them! Quality is great, love the color (purple and brown were the two I purchased).
