This is a really good laminator for the current price.Very uncomplicated to operate. Simply plug in, switch on, wait for three minutes for the 'ready' light to come on, feed the 'closed' end of the laminating pouch (with the paperwork/photo you want laminating inside) into the slot at the front of the machine.The machine 'takes' it, feeds it out at the back, presenting you with a very professional looking job in under a minute.It will laminate anything from credit card size up to A4.Will do 'hot' or 'cold' laminating, but for 'cold' laminating you need to get dedicated pouches, I'm fine with 'hot' laminating for now, until I get a bit more advanced.The machine comes with A4 sized (hot) laminating pouches to get you started.Will work for thirty minutes constant before needing a ten minute 'break' to cool down. The top does get hot, but not meltdown.This laminator is about 13 inches long, 5 inches wide and two inches deep, so doesn't take up much room. It's light, and looks smart.I hadn't used a laminator before, but this is simplicity itself, and I am really pleased with the results.

Really pleased with this laminator. It's so easy to use and was a really good price. It's sleek, looks nice, easy to use, does a good job. What more can I say. I bought this as I had printed out some communication boards for my carers r when I am in hospital but unable to speak and I wanted them to be laminated so I could keep them clean. This worked a treat and they came out perfectly. I've not used the cold setting yet though, just the hot setting. Will update when I have had a go.

It does two thicknesses of laminating paper. Very useful as some do not.Smaller and lighter than my previous Rexel and made of much thinner materials - is also much cheaper than the Rexel (bought from Staples). However does the job but only longer use will prove its durability. Has power and ready buttons which are quite clear. The Rexel despite the high price jammed and there was no mechanism to free it up. It had to be binned. This machine will hopefully avoid that.The Cathedral is fairly slow on start up but then none of these machines are super fast as they have to heat up for the laminating sheets to bond.Good value for money and recommended.It has a small footprint which is useful where space is a premium.

Surprised that his machine works so well considering the price. It does the job perfectly and I have now had the machine for several month.No jams, no buckling and no air bubbles in the sheet. It just does exactly what you want it to do - laminate paper quickly and effectively.

I usually take thing to work to laminate, I decided to buy my own as lots of bits & bobs to laminate and was pleasantly surprised that they are not as expensive as I thought. I read that this one seemed to have good reviews so purchased it. It came quick and no problems working it also a bonus that it came with 25 pouches. A great little gadget.

I bought this laminator as I was getting fed up paying to get things laminated in shops that charge a fortune; for what would have cost me 10 A4 pages to be laminated I was able to buy my own laminator which has already paid for itself in savings. No problems as yet, everything I have laminated has worked perfect with no jams. Easy to use.

I trawled through a lot of different laminator reviews on Amazon and finally decided on ordering this one. It's a good size, looks great and was quick to heat up etc. Sadly, the laminator jammed on around 50% of the sheets that I tried laminating. This left the pages scrunched and unusable. On the sheets that came through without any problem, the laminating result was great....unfortunately it's not fit for purpose in regards to the jamming issue. I don't know if I was just unlucky with a faulty one, but I have now returned the item.

This is a great piece of equipment for the money, it will cope with laminating pouches up to 250 micron (2 * 125) and although it is of plastic construction, it seems very well built and robust.In operation it works really well, I have laminated several photos with 250 micron pouches and also several recipes using the included 150 micron pouches and it worked perfectly with no air bubbles or other problems. The only slight drawback is that it is quite slow, taking about 75 seconds to do an A4 sheet.For occasional use this is brilliant, but does need to be switched off after about 30 mins to allow it to cool down.
