Jads International Black Widow Perfume for Women

First off, I never wear perfume. Most of it gives me a headache, or is too flowery sweet. I bought this perfume mostly as a spur-of-moment nerd thing, with the realization that I might not enjoy it at all. The description made it sound really nice and subtle, so I thought, why not? At the very least I'll have a nerdy nick-knack I can show my friends and we can laugh at the ridiculous attempt at marketing.But I was pleasantly surprised. The description lists "citrus and fresh berries... sensual caramel and honey notes... sandalwood... bitter chocolate, patchouli and praline." I definitely get the berries, caramel, and chocolate, with a nice muskiness, and I've been complimented on it while wearing some.The bottle's nothing too fancy, but I like the small detail of the Latin on it: "fallaces sunt rerum species." Black Widow says this in Iron Man 2, which translates approximately to "The appearances of things are deceptive and the hope of men is deceived," which I think is a nice touch.I don't have any of the other Avengers fragrances, but I would hope they're all like this one. It comes off as a genuine item, not just some merchandising gimmick thrown together to make a quick buck. You don't need much; like any other perfume, a little goes a long way. (Though it usually wears off before the end of day. Like I said, I don't typically wear perfume, but I assume this is normal?) But I might still buy several so I can use it regularly without worrying about it going out of stock once they stop making it. (I'm assuming it's a limited run.)

This scent is an inquired taste type deal. It smells horrible sprayed straight out of the bottle. However, once I sprayed it on me I couldn't stop sniffing it. The scent is mysterious and inciting. It is a very complex perfume with many layers that end on seductive and lusty notes with out the use of floral scents. If you over kill this perfume you will get the "Old Lady" vibe. If you use just the right amount (one spray), you will want to use this every day and smell it all the time. I can smell the caramel, berries, chocolate and sandalwood. I love this perfume and I use mine every day. I enjoy the Black Widow comics and the perfume is appropriately named. Natasha would totally rock this to drive heros and villains mad!

Smells like a light, spicy (and slightly racy) version of Thierry Mugler's "Angel", or like the Peony variant of that line, at a fraction of the price. If you're one of those people that "Angel" smells like foot on, this fragrance probably won't work for you. It has most of the same elements and, unsurprisingly, will create the same results. On me, it happens to be full of awesome.Bottle is nondescript but durable. Good quality decals were used for labels; minimal decoration in keeping with the character for whom the scent is named. Box is fun. I'd say that I'll buy it again when I run out, but my wonderful husband did that all ready.

My order arrived early and in good condition! (For being bought used). I was a bit wary about how long the perfume scent would last seeing as how most of the reviews say that it tends to wear off rather quickly but I found that if you apply it directly to the skin the scent will last through the day and into the next morning. The scent itself was a little bit unexpected and reminded me a bit of a grandma- but! I found it rather pleasant and suggest it to any Avengers fan out there who's interested in buying.

The primary smell is that of Brüte mens after have, but at the same time it smells nice, it's just very strong

I don't usually wear perfume - haven't since I was in high school. I'm a huge fan of Marvel, though, and Black Widow is definitely my favourite character.I thought perfume was a really clever licensed product, I'd never seen anything like this before. Tee shirts? Notebooks? Sure. But this is clever, so I bought it, not expecting much from it....and I was wrong. Wow it smells good. It smells like berries, but not too sweet... earthy berries, if that makes any sense. Love it, and I can't wait until I find work again so I can afford to buy more bottles of this.

The scent was strong and very old lady/ uncle smelling. It wasn't a pleasant smell to my boyfriend, my bestfriend who we bought the perfume for, or myself. The seller was great though and sent the order quick and in a professional manner.

i was expecting to really like this after reading the other reviews but the truth is, this just smells like an old lady. i'll try it out anyway and see if the smell becomes less potent throughout the day but i doubt it. even though i don't really like the smell, i do love black widow so it's still a nice novelty item.
