Amazing quality
I was looking for some heavy weight, raw edge watercolor paper to gift to my mom who loves painting. After shopping around, I chose to go with this product because the price was fair and the paper looked high quality. It has beautiful raw edges and some fine texture. My mom has already put it to use and she’s very happy with it.

Love it! Very pleasantly surprised!
Whenever I see watercolor paper that is advertised as being made with cotton, at a reasonable price, I scarf it right up. Obviously, with brands like Arches or another established brand, one is assured of a certain standard, and it’s usually a higher standard of quality. But lately, there have been many obscure brands from countries all over the world, and the quality has been, in my opinion, hit or miss. So, when I saw this package of watercolor paper that is advertised as being made of “bleached pulp, unbleached cotton, and linen”, I was intrigued, hopeful, but not wanting to get my hopes up. After all, I’ve got three boxes of paper here that had advertised as being cotton, only to arrive at my house with no such labels in sight, and being left with paper that is most probably NOT cotton, or that is sized so strangely that it fails to behave like cotton watercolor paper at all.Not this stack of 40 sheets! This actually really does feel and act exactly the way it has been advertised! My first impression of it was that it was very similar to another stack of homemade paper made with Egyptian cotton, was a lighter gsm, but enhanced my watercolors quite beautifully,…exactly the way cotton watercolor paper is supposed to behave. However, this stack of paper is just a tiny bit stiffer, and does have a quality x feel that could very well be the addition of linen. I look forward to “test driving” this paper in a full blown painting. The only other cotton linen blend of watercolor paper I’ve ever sampled before was a very expensive handmade paper from the Czech Republic called, “Moldau”. Could this also be from that brand? If so, then I would think it very fortunate to find some here on Amazon, because it’s not exactly easy to find, and it certainly isn’t cheap. I believe I spent something like $5-$8 for a half or quarter sheet. Once I give it the once over with watercolors in a painting, perhaps also other media, I’ll come back and edit my review, and also post pictures. As of now, I’m excited and curious to check this paper out, and just wanted to report that I believe it really is what it is advertised to be: a cotton/ linen blend.*EDIT* Forgot to mention: each sheet has two textures. On one side, hot press. On the other side, cold pressed. This makes this stack of sheets a lovely candidate for a homemade watercolor sketchbook. Instead of 40 sheets only, it is 80 pages. The hot pressed side could even be used for calligraphy, journal writing, or a handcrafted book, not to mention that hot press is my go to texture for portraiture! Thank you for the opportunity to try this beautiful cotton and linen blend! I may just write my book now!☺️ * Just checking in, 6 weeks or so after having written this review. Wondering why there are only two reviews written on this lovely paper??😳 Also: I’ve just uploaded an image taken of a painting that I made on this paper. I’m very happy with this paper, and wish they’d offer larger sizes, as in A4, A3, etc. This paper stands out for me as being unique, in a good way!👍🏻

High Quality, Thick Paper
40 Sheets Watercolor Paper 8 x 6in-Deckled Edge Paper 220gsmI got a set of smaller watercolor paper from this company and loved it. This is equally as good - in a bigger size.PROS: A nice weight. To give you an idea of how thick they are - the 40 sheets is a full 3/4" high when stacked. Nicely textured so that it looks handmade. (See photo). Rough/jagged edges that look like they were hand-torn, which adds to the feeling that this is not mass produced. These are really high quality - they look vintage and will add a nice extra touch to watercolor paintings, note cards, calligraphy, or any other use. I'm impressed with these papers.
