Love the color and utility of this. Regularly use it in my cafe for RDT on espresso and pour-overs. A cheap and extremely effective upgrade to your work-flow and extraction. Just wish the doser was a bit smaller to cup my hand around and shake, but it can comfortably hold up to ~28g of coffee so I can't complain.

You can do without one, but why? It makes measuring your beans and adding back a little moisture easy. And it looks great.

It's a quality ceramic product. the edges are flared just enough to keep the beans from spilling and it's wide enough to give the beans a spritz before grinding and you're able to reach them all at once.

It's a joy to use and looks perfect with the color theme of my coffee station.

Great for weighing shots just wish it was a little larger

You can use any cup for dosing, but here are a few reasons to get a proper dosing cup like this:1- The shape is perfect for people who like to spritz their beans with a mist of water (to prevent static and clumping) and then put their hand over the top (the cup shape fits your hand shape) and shake.2- It pours into your grinder much more easily than a round cup.3- It looks nice4- The bottom ring allows it to sit easily on some of the very small modern coffee scales.

Nice quality, works great for weighing beans.

It's okay, but the spout is too narrow for the beans to pour out of it. So you have do dump them over the side, defeating the point.
