Works well, not cheap, good quality. The hinge proably isn't SUPER strong but as strong as can be at this size and weight Honestly probably the best I've seen, I got their ipad case too it's very clever, I like that they design and not copy people. I give 5 stars although not cheap - but worth.

Best for portability, it's super slim and it's still able to grip the phone and hold it in place to take pics or videos when nobody is around to take one for you!

This has quickly become one of my favorite phone accessories. What impressed me first was the compact size. It is incredibly slim when folded down, actually slimmer than some PopSockets I've used, so it doesn't add a big bulky piece to the back of my phone. For something that can transform into so many different positions, I was surprised by how little space it takes up. The versatility is easily the best part. There are a lot of different ways to position it depending on what I'm doing. I can use it as a regular stand for watching videos, position my phone vertically for scrolling through social media, or adjust it into other angles when I need my hands free. I've found myself changing the setup depending on where I'm sitting or what I'm watching rather than being stuck with just one viewing angle. The magnetic connection is also impressively strong. Once my phone is attached, it feels secure and I don't feel like I'm constantly having to check whether it's going to come loose. The stability is very good in the different stand positions I've tried as well. Considering how slim the whole thing is, I expected it to feel a little less substantial when opened up, but it holds the phone surprisingly well. Ease of use is another big positive. The different sections fold and move smoothly, and once you understand how everything works it is very quick to switch between positions. The included instructions were actually useful too. I probably could have figured most of it out myself, but they made it easy to verify that I was using all of the different configurations correctly. The quality feels excellent. The materials have a much more premium feel than a typical plastic phone stand, and everything feels nicely put together. Even the way it folds up has a satisfying, well-designed feel to it. It also looks unique enough that I've had people notice it and ask what it is. It's definitely a bit of a head turner for such a small phone accessory. I also think the value for money is good because this replaces several accessories for me. Instead of carrying a separate phone grip, kickstand, and small tripod-style stand, I can get many of those functions from one very slim accessory. Overall, I'm extremely happy with it. The compact size is excellent, the versatility gives me a ton of options, the stability and strong magnet make it practical for everyday use, and the quality feels premium. It's especially useful for watching videos and scrolling social media hands-free. Five stars.

My wife had already been using the previous (standard) model of the MOFT phone tripod-stand for awhile now, so she was the perfect person to do a compare and contrast to the new AERA version. She uses it daily to help her film videos. After playing with it for a while, she could tell that it was lighter than the standard model. Besides that, all the other great features of the tripod-stand were basically identical to the one she had. So I’m not sure what exactly they did to reduce the weight by 13%, but at the very least it was good to know that they didn’t skimp on material quality to arrive at a lighter product. Since she was happy with her standard model, she let me have the AERA to use myself. Now I am a long time user of the Popsocket, so initially I wasn’t crazy about the idea of carrying around yet another Iphone accessory with me everywhere. However, given that my very tech-savvy wife (who is extremely picky about her tech gadgets and accessories) is such a huge devotee and long-time user of the MOFT stand, that fact in itself already told me that this gadget was at least worth trying. As soon as I got used to the MOFT stand, I almost immediately knew that I liked this product. With a Popsocket, I was unable to stand my phone up vertically, which always drove me crazy. I do a lot of work in front of my computer, and a lot of times I need my phone to be able to access messages, apps, etc. And the default UI for the Iphone OS is vertical, as well as many apps and information contained therein that I need to be looking at in order to do my job. Prior to having the MOFT stand, I would just lean my phone on various objects on my desk, but this was less than ideal since my phone would often tip over when I went to swipe or tap the screen. Now, with this multifunctional stand, I can place my phone vertically at any angle I want without having to worry about it tipping over. AND I can keep my phone plugged in while doing so! The only complaint I have is that the fabric of the part that folds over already got a little tear in it. Not sure how it happened but I was bummed when I saw it. Otherwise I really love the AERA stand. It's really a well-designed product all around. In my opinion, the real magic is in the extremely strong, high quality hinge. Its able to hold my Iphone Max Pro up at many different angles and withstand the friction of repeated opening and closing motions. Great product. Must-have for any smart-phone owner.
