If you need mini instruments
The good- the best priced ones I could findThe bad - feel a little cheap and plasticy. The larger instruments (piano guitars etc) are very well made but the gold instruments (harp trumpet etc) feel quite fragile

May not suit the connoisseuer, but good value for money nonetheless
This cute assortment of miniature musical instruments is not the highest quality, but you do get a lot for your money (£6.95 at time of review). There are 18 pieces in total, each moulded from plastic with plenty of detail, and although they are not as nicely made as some more elaborate miniature instruments, they will do the job nicely and look more than presentable in almost every case. They are not of a standard scale which is a bit awkward if you wanted to use them all in the same dollhouse or diorama, but for my purposes (to use them in a mix of art projects) they are great and I am very happy with them. I think they actually look a bit better than I expected and some of them even have hanging loops which add to their versatility. They would be ideal as Christmas tree decorations in a musical home or business.

A good amount of detail on the instruments but most of them don't stand up!
I liked the look of these toy instruments as I thought that they would be fun to have in a doll's house. The piano and stool stand up as does the drum but most of the other instruments don't. They have bits of the moulding sticking out of the bases which means that they don't have a flat surface to stand up on. Also, the shape is not balanced in a way that would allow them to stand up. They are fun pieces though with a good amount of detail on them so could be used to teach a child about different instruments or for general play.
