This is a fantastic replacement, the only reason for a minus on the star is it does not come with batteries so if you forget, like I did, you have to go out and get them but I am very happy with how easy it was to pair and connect and no issues. Thank goodness it's an easy replacement. The box it comes in said accessory and was just shrink wrapped so minimally packaged but it works so I don't have much to complain other than that :)

Mine LG is a 47LM6700-UA and it came with the magic wand remote. Magic remote worked, but the battery lock broke off and I had to tape the bottom for it to work. The great thing about this universal remote was that it worked right out of the box / package without having to register the remote. It did come with instruction manual showing how to register if it didn’t work right away.If you have a magic remote, you know that the buttons are limited. This universal remote makes the television experience so much better and faster. No need to push menu and move the cursor to make the television work. No need to hold the channel button up or down to get to your station. Push the corresponding button and bam you are there. Actually there was a lot more functions that I was surprise to see. One thing that I did notice was that the cursor is sometimes useful. I was playing a video via the USB slot and I realized that the cursor does have its use (allowing you to go to a point in the video). However, I used the fast forward button (in the bottom), which really helps defeats the purpose of the magic remote. I highly recommend this remote if you need to replace it. After some use, I discovered it is easily breakable, but I think it still deserves a 5 stars since it is functional, affordable, and does the same thing the OEM magic wand does.TL:DR1) Excellent replacement for LG (specifically magic remote).2) Worked out of the box.3) Pre-determine buttons make it easier to use the television.4) Highly recommended.5) The product is easily breakable (edit), but still a 5 star.

after ordering the wrong remote, thanks to LG recommendation, I ordered the correct one, recommended by Rufus. this one works perfect. seemed to automatically connect with my tv and has been working great ever since.

Works with 2024 LG smart TV. Only reason to not give it 5 stars is it does not have lit buttons. Every function works including voice and pointer. Much better that original control.

Works for the most part like navigation controls, app buttons, volume and channel but my LG C4 OLED 2024 is not registering this remote. First time using this, TV says, "Registering new magic remote." then after a few seconds, it says "This remote is not supported by this TV." It can still be used for basic navigation but the mouse feature will not work voice control. The most annoying thing is just that every time the OK button is pressed, a popup always come out saying "This remote is not supported by this TV." Be aware if this if you have a new model LG TV 2024 and above especially the OLED series.So wrong advertising, the description is just misleading that it works on 2024 C4 OLED model.

This remote paired with my LG C2 OLED TV without a hitch and fully supports magic wand and voice search, but it is not my favorite remote. It comes with no backlighting, it is pretty heavy and the power button is stiff and difficult to press. But the biggest omission of this remote is absence of Play/Pause button. In some applications the central joystick button works as Play/Pause, but in others it requires several presses to actually pause a video, resulting in inability to pause video at precise moment.Besides, the way magic wand works is that cursor on the screen follows your wrist movement, but to press any button on the screen you need to press the central joystick button, which is stiff and many time while pressing it, my wrist moves just a bit resulting in missing on screen buttons or pressing the wrong ones. It is very unfortunate design that you would have to live with every day.Three stars for easy pairing and full functionality support, two stars missing for stiff buttons and dubious omission of dedicated Play/Pause button.
