The shoes are exactly as described. The color looks good. They run a little large, but are fine if don't like your shoes to rub your toes.

Good fit for Elves, not a fit for Hobbits
These are definitely for long, narrow feet. Not for wider hobbit toes like mine. They looked nice, but I never had to opportunity to put them to the test, as they were returned.

Wouldn't recommend
Too stiff hurts my ankle bone. I dont know why i thought buying a bigger size would help. Now I have 2 pairs that I can't wear.

You get what you pay for
For $30, you get an approximate shoe. They look good and are of good enough quality for the money. Comfort wise though, the sole and treads are thinner like a cheap sneaker, not a boot. The location of the lace tie high up on the ankle creates A LOT of friction when you walk - wear tall socks or you will regret the decision not to. Loosely tying up the laces created enough room to walk comfortably. Also the heel tab is placed in the wrong spot to actually be useful in helping you to put the shoe on. You have to FULLY loosen the laces on 3/4 of the shoe to put it on your foot. Not the best design, but to end where I started, for $30 you get exactly a $30 shoe and no more.

3rd party shipping, headaches
When ordering just know... Amazon don't ship this item! I ordered these for my wife, and the tracking system was a total mess. They came into Canada, from the USA. 3rd party shipping low end company. Tad stressful. Other wise my wife was happy with the boots
