My garage door was very noisy when opening and closing and was moving very slowly. I watched some videos online looking for what was wrong. The main issue seemed to be our opener and when I checked out my garage door rollers, I found they were really shot too (after about 22 years). So I watched some other video's and read reviews before deciding on these. I called a company to install a new opener, but they wanted an extra $150 to install the new rollers while they were here. These are pretty easy to do yourself if you are mechanically inclined and have some basic tools. There is some danger as many garage doors utilize very strong springs under torsion to help lift the rolling door up (act as a counter weight so the motor can easily move the heavy door) so you need to be careful removing the mounts/changing the very bottoms ones where the cable is attached to the torsion spring. I found taking part of the track off and lifting the door roller to that section made it very easy to slide out the old and pop in the new roller. Then I screwed the track section back in. They are many videos online with tips and trips on how to do it safely if you are so inclined. I changed out the 10 rollers on my door in under 30 minutes, not having done it before. I could probably do it in 10-15 minutes the second time, so definitely not worth (to me) paying someone a large amount to change them.The new rollers are very quiet and appear to be well made. I expect them to last another 20+ years.

These rollers worked great. I replaced old metal roller’s that were on the doors for 35 years and the eliminated all the squeaks I grew use to hearing. I wanted to try one set to see what difference they made before I did the second door. I just ordered the second set. They look well made and should last.

My garage tech actually geeked out on these. I had him do the bottom rollers (the ones with the high tension warning) since I was having my door rebalanced and adjusted. They're extremely quiet and smooth. If you have a belt driven garage door opener, the door is the loudest part, so these will make an enormous difference.

The media could not be loaded. My garage has the screw drive instead of a chain or belt so it’s pretty loud. Upgrading to these wheels barely made it quieter so the guess for me it’s the drive mechanism making all the noise. I have to channel supreme focus for me to hear if the wheels made it quieter.Installation isn’t for the meek, I opened the garage all the way and removed the bottom wheel brackets and then my wire spool got tangled on both ends. I got lucky and was able to wrap the wire around the spools and not have to redo the spring tension.They’re quality wheels and I can tell they’re pretty quiet. I suppose if you hear wheel roller noise these will help a lot.

A solid upgrade for the money. I like them and hope they last a long time. Careful with doing the bottom rollers. Make sure there is no spring tension before removing them to replace them with these.

Older Garage door dragging in channels - try these before you pay vendor to wipe them with a rag and spray liquid lubricant. It saved me a lot of frustration time and money. These worked very well, fit perfectly and seem quite durable.

Easy to install except the bottom two rollers. Be prepared to release the tension on the springs before removing the bottom bracket. It could be dangerous to remove the bottom bracket without releasing the tension on the springs. If you’re not familiar with garage door installation I recommend getting a professional to replace the rollers. Otherwise the rollers are excellent quality and definitely quiet.

Easy to install. They appear to be well made. My wife noticed how quiet the door got without me even mentioning it to her.
