Very nice single mag, unfortunately, I could not find a double mag
It is nice to look at and releases the magazine very easily. I turned it upside down and shook it and the magazine did not come out, though I suppose if I shook it violently it might. The company needs to use good judgement on not making it difficult to remove the magazine while still preventing it from coming out accidentally and I think they did a good job of that. My one complaint is they did not make a two magazine holder for the Glock 42 that I could find, whereas they do in other rounds. It seems less likely I will need to use three clips to stop someone with a .40 S&W than with a .380, but they make a two magazine one for a .40 S&W. If there is one thing to dislike about the magazine itself, it's a bit thick and appears to be designed for OWB carry. With proper treatment it seems like it could last forever.

Just right for my Glock 43 mags
It’s light, sturdy, and has retention. I also bought a Fobus holster which is great. Simple. Great retention. I’ve had a Fobus paddleback handcuff case I’ve used for 30 years on the job. That’s why I went with Fobus

Home Run!
I have yet to be disappointed by any of the 20+ Fobus holsters and mag carriers I own. Excellent fit and finish , durable and reliable. Whenever I get a new firearm, I look at Fobus holsters first, and rarely go anywhere else. Great job, keep it up.

Happy with my purchase
Took a while to get here as it shipped from Israel but the quality is very good. Wish the springs kept the magazine a wee bit tighter but overall it performs well.

Nice and Light, but too thick.
This mag pouch doesn't have to be as thick as it is, but other than that, it's a good product.

Fits my Beretta PX4 17rd magazine
Got this to fit in my Fobus thigh rig, works great. Sturdy and secure but easy enough to yank the magazine out, just don’t be soft about it

I'm very disappointed with this product
Be warned! I am a die hard Fobus fan. I also own over 20 handguns, most of which I carry. So needless to say, I own a lot of Fobus products. However, this DSS1 mag pouch will NOT hold a Glock 42 mag securely at all. It's supposed to be adjustable, but it came with no instructions. From what I can see, it appears to be self adjusting due to a spring built into the case that puts tension on the magazine. This spring is way, way too weak to hold my mag. If I insert the mag and turn the unit upside down, the mag will fall to the ground immediately. Please keep in mind, that is with NO shaking, just simply turning it upside down. I'm very disappointed with this product. I'm not sure why they feel the need to move away from what works. All of these companies over complicate things and end up creating failures and unhappy customers. Another appealing feature of Fobus gear has always been the price point. Magazine holders used to run around $10, and holsters were $20. Because they've over complicated their items now, it has raised manufacturing costs, thereby raising the price for working stiffs like us. $26.99 for a single mag case, that doesn't even work like it should, is an utter and complete waste of time and money. Spend an extra $8 and get a custom fit leather mag pouch.
