Fairly hard but not too hard - perfect.

Useful introduction. I gave my best shot to each puzzle and then used the answers to work out what I missed! Now on Book 2, getting much better at them, and have ordered Book 3 for a holiday.

Excellent for the train/plane
I enjoy the quick cryptic - it is about my level! Having the answers at the back ensures no endless searching but there is a temptation to cheat.

Gift for my husband who really enjoys the Times Quick Cryptic crosswords. He would be at a loose end if he didn’t have a book to hand.
