They look alright and are hopefully more ecological than plastic, but they snap rather easily.When eating, the head will frequently snap off the handle if any amount of significant pressure is applied. That might not be as much of an issue if this was a spoon, however, as it is a fork, that is a pretty serious flaw. Have not noticed splintering until of course the head breaks off entirely.Still, that said, it is nice to have the option of a truly disposable fork on hand. I would say that its better than nothing. Will find a different brand to try when these run out. 2 or 3 stars out of 5.

While these are visually impressive and beautiful. Functional they are not, while using they broke, 3 forks in a row. I bought to use at my farmhouse wedding and I was disappointed.

I bought these for my backyard wedding, as I wanted something eco-friendly and compostable. They look much nicer than the other wooden forks, I'll give them that. BUT imagine how embarrassed I was when they broke repeatedly when my guests tried using them to eat mango and other fruit! I'm sure these would be ok for salad, or soft foods like cake that don't require piercing, but get something else if you want to use it for something else.

Great and easy way to reduce your one time plastic use. They are not super tough, but I would say are durable enough for 90% of anyone's picnic and party use. Only improvement i would suggest is ship them in a cardboard box and don't wrap them in plastic. Thank you!

Our annual Christmas party really made a big step in the right direction when we gave up plastic and offered your beautiful wooden flatware instead. We had quite a few compliments.

Very proud to have environment-friendly disposable utensils. People in my party were very impressed. We need more products like this to change the consuming habits that are making our planet a big land filed.

Not what I expected. A little flimsy. After a few bites the fork gets wet, its very woody and rough in texture. Rounded tines don't really stab the food. So much for paying the same as plastic forks to try and be environmentally conscious. They do burn well in the campfire...but so do the plastic ones! The general consensus while camping, No One was a fan of these wooden forks.

They were perfect for the wedding cake and very sturdy. Compostable and we were thrilled that we had no plastic everything was earth-friendly.:0) Very stylish as well.
