Future Proof: The Time Travel Novel That Everyone's Talking About. Don't miss it.

A joyous, life-affirming roller coaster of a tale…..don’t miss it!
I’m a voracious and eclectic reader, with time-travel stories one of my guilty little pleasures! Some are good, some not so hot, but Future-Proof is very much in the former category. I suppose there are definite nods in the direction of The Butterfly Effect, which I believe exists only as a film rather than a novel, but that is not really a bad thing, is it? The device through which time travel is achieved is clever, not over-analysed or laboured, and is satisfying enough as an explanation. The author has great fun with changing timelines, but doesn’t get too stuck in the paradoxes we all know would exist - it just happens, and it works. The central character is someone we can engage with and grow to support, to cheer on, whilst the love story running all the way though is sufficiently moving and believable. Difficult to say much more without spoilers, but I would add that the narrative is very well written, solid attention to structure, grammar etc. Ultimately a very satisfying read - treat yourself and enjoy it!

Future proof
Very unusual idea, well written and enjoyed it very much. I will definitely read more of his stuff, didn't listen to the music as it's not my thing.

Absorbing and thought provoking read
As a fan of time travel books I decided to give this one a go. Sometimes this genre can be a little formulaic, but this book had me gripped from the start and I finished it in two days. I loved all the characters and found myself rooting for them to succeed. Great book, give it a read, you will thank your future self (or should that be your past self?)

Interesting twist on time travel.
Well written, engaging story that hooked me from the start. As with any SF novel you need to leave scientific scrutiny to the cynics and go with the internal logic of the novel. I really enjoyed this book and the fact that I read it in one sitting proves that, for me at least, it really was a page turner.

You won't be able to put this down...
This is the best time travel book I've read since 'The First 14 Lives of Harry August'. It would be just how I have imagined going back in time myself. It was a great story and well written. I usually read books at night to help me sleep and don't normally read fiction. This was a rare deviation but one I enjoyed even though I was reading this at 3am in the morning to get through the last 10 chapters. Highly recommened.

Great fast-moving and compelling read on the whole
What I loved about this book as a fan of the time-travel genre was its originality, humour and characters that were really likeable (that is really important to me as otherwise I lose interest in them and stop reading). It was well-written, pretty fast moving and compelling reading. What I didn't like and therefore deducted a star for was the last chapter which felt entirely unnecessary. It appeared to have been put in as an afterthought - perhaps to tie up some "loose ends" - but it ended up confusing the premises that the story had been built upon and also had a noticeably large number of grammatical and spelling errors.I would definitely recommend this book to all time-travel fans.

More twisty and turny than the road to Machu Picchu!
I started reading this book on Kindle Unlimited out of idle curiosity, not expecting it to be my cup of tea; science fiction is not a genre I generally read… but I couldn’t have been more wrong - the storyline is so intriguing, I simply couldn’t put it down! There were so many twists to the story that just when you thought you knew what was going to happen and have a break from reading, another one hits - WHAM! And you’re forced to carry on reading the next chapter to find out what happens. Not your usual time travelling book at all; it’s strangely believable. The detail that the author gives to the events he describes, almost make you believe it really happened, although of course that’s impossible…or is it?

Silly but amusing and entertaining
Going back in time to change what, with the benefit hindsight and years to dwell on them, turned out to be mistakes in order to improve your future is a theme that has been done before. I have read and enjoyed Keith A. Pearson's novels which are in a similar vein. David Atkinson comes up with a new way for Sam Harris to travel back to his former live to set things right; daft but no more so than Mr Pearson's. Future Proof is easy-to-read, silly, amusing at times, but most importantly entertaining and fun. A solid 7/10, rounded down to 3 stars.

You just can’t stop reading it once started
This novel appeared on my Kindle Unlimited recommendations, so yesterday morning I decided to give it a try. 03:15 and I finished reading it.I just couldn’t stop. The story is very well articulated, fun, and narrated like in a diary or so.It doesn’t bother you with complexities or deep stuff. The main characters are well presented and detailed. But the story gets the main role. Thanks to the author for filling a vacation day with a good story well told.

Creative, thought provoking and thoroughly enjoyable
As an occasional reader of alternate history fiction I found Future Proof by accident. I'm so glad I did. I found the premise interesting and relatable and the story itself compelling and well paced. Congratulations to the author for creating something fresh, intriguing and a really worthwhile read.
