HME Products Ground Trail Camera Mount: This is a clever device and I'm surprised that others don't seem to have done it. A camera mounts well and is easily adjusted for angle and tilt. The height adjustment is limited, but has an ideal height range for most wildlife photography. Obviously you need ground that is suitable to take the spike - so not rocks for example, but in most circumstance the spike is easily driven in with the handy angle designed to take pressure from your foot to drive it in. The only minor reservation is the obvious one, namely that in very windy conditions, and being a single vertical upright, there can be some sway induced by the wind which obviously is reflected in your footage. Overall it's a well designed and competitively priced item that has come in very handy. Would recommend.

Used the groud spike for the first time and it was excellent. Filmed badgers at a local set in very breezy conditions and you wouldn't have known as there was no movement on the resulting pictures. Easy extending to provide hight on uneven banking. Simple washer system to ensure the camera and adjusting handle don't impare each other. Love the foot stirrup to push the spike into the hard ground without effort. This is a very well thought out product.

I have been very impressed with its build quality and ease of use. I have my Campark T-80 camera mounted on it and it is ideal for positioning the camera in various locations in the garden. The metal parts are well protected and I have not noticed any corrosion despite quite a bit of wet weather recently. I am planning to purchase a second trail camera and will purchase another mount so I can have two cameras covering the garden.

This mount is great for mounting your trail camera in that "Ideal Location" when other options (trees etc.) would be too far away from the area you want to cover. And, with the height adjustment and the tilt and pan facility the mount affords, getting the right shot is so much easier. The ground spike is long enough to ensure a steady mount for your camera.

The ad says duty free but be aware that you will have to pay Import VAT (£13.24) and a Clearance Fee (£12) before UK Customs will release the package for delivery.

No more looking for a tree or post, I can now set up the trailcam wherever I like. Unless wind is very strong, this is sturdy enough to prevent camera movement causing activation. Very adjustable as well

Very good with Trail Cam in the garden

Its robust, lightweight, and overall great value for money. It seems it was to good as it was stolen along with my trail camera on Sunday. I have no problem in purchasing another.
