Solid wood, heavy and feels durable. I managed to assemble it myself but should really have two people as it'll make it much easier and quicker. Took me two hours going very slowly with a painful shoulder/ neck. I filled it up with dogs toys, having emptied all from 3 large wicker baskets. Lid doesn't close by it's self, but holds where ever you have the lid. Love it

Chest was delivered earlier than expected, and was extremely easy to put together, even for a 70 yr old lady with severe arthritis. The only help I required was for the lid, and it took all of 30 minutes to complete. The quality of the chest is outstanding, and I would have no problem buying again from this seller.

Good sized storage chest.
Another fabulous piece from Vasagles' wide range, each & every one, perfect! This chest looks really smart, plenty space inside, easy to move around. In every way find this the perfect storage unit for practically anything & looks like it's going to hold lots....busy filling it now! :-) Love this range so much will definitely be buying more, at such very reasonable prices, how could I not? Plus so many to choose from. 100% satisfied, love it!
