Whilst it is not the cheapest filter it is very effective even if used alone. This increases when coupled with a top layer filter. The tank water is crystal clear and glossy after filtration. The filter extracts all physical pollutants from the water. It is expensive but you do get what you paid for. I will be buying this product again.
