Sweex SC012 5.1 PCI Sound Card

What a pain to install. I had to find some random drivers off the internet to get it working, which it did eventually.

Arrived today and fitted tested ok, giving my old PC new lease of life.

Worked as soon as I installed it great quality for the price but some noise interference at the top end of volume No complaints here

excellent plugged it into the slot and away we went.

a much needed card

A complete pain to set up, hissed whenever no sound was playing, died after 3 months. My advice is avoid.

This is a great sound card that works on all windows i know i have 2 of them in different machines yes there is sterio mix on this sound card so you can broadcast your sounds or use in chatroon to play music over the internet by selecting the sterio mix and mute the mic in playback your all set to play and have fun. Sky buy this sound card and be happy.

Carte installée dans un PC Windows 8.1, le PC plantait sans arrêt, voire refusait de démarrer. Une fois enlevée la carte, retour à un fonctionnement normal. Et ce n'est pas faute d'avoir essayé plein de solutions. Et j'ai été installateur/dépanneur PC, donc ce n'est pas de la bêtise utilisateur. Mauvais matériel, point à la ligne.µ Quand elle fonctionnait, OK, rien à dire.

Funciona muy bien. Por el precio que tenía no esperaba gran cosa y estoy gratamente sorprendida. Volvería a comprarla sin duda.

Klar bei dem Preis hatte ich auch keine hohen Erwartungen. Sollte nur die Zeit überbrücken bis ich mir ein neues Mainboard leisten kann, da bei meinem MB der Onboard Audio-Chip den Geist aufgegeben hat. Aber diese Karte ist keinen Cent wert, jedenfalls nicht für 5.1... Treiber mit mitgelieferter CD installiert - soweit okay. Karte erkannt, kein Fehler. Aber dann kam nicht was ich erwartet habe. Nach config 5.1 (Win7Pro-64Bit-DE), blieb mein Subwoofer schweigend. Bis ich feststellte, dass alle 6 Kanäle über den Frontanschluß übertragen wurden. Müll. Aus Back und/oder Sub/Center kam nix. Außerdem sind die Anschlüsse zu dicht beisammen, 3 "normale" Klinkenstecker sind nicht reinzubringen! Und die Verpackung auf dem Bild entspricht nicht der die ich erhalten habe. Das war mir aber wurscht. Inhaltlich ist es die bestellte gewesen. Zurück!
