Packaging inadequate.
The pump is really good, but the problem is the packing and shipping. I live in NE Oregon and this came from Florida. There were many hands on it and trucks it went into. I suggest ensuring that the expediter ensure there is more packing than a simple box and piece of styrofoam. The pump end is quite heavy and it has a tendency to tip over, which means it could easily fall if not supported equally.Sta Rite really should pack the box with foam or provide a wood framework. Five stars for the pump as it replaces one that was 15 years old, but one star for the delivery mechanism.

The pump arrived earlier than expected, which was great. It was a good installation. It works perfectly. We are very happy with this product and with the vendor.
