Foams were vacuum packed, but it only took about 2 hours for them to come back to real size. Kit comes with a lot of double sided tape for easy installation. I set this up for my recording room and it helps reduce some of the noise and echo so far. Works well as far as I can tell.

I am using them in an office environment glass cubicle to reduce noise from a noisy neighbor.Peeling off the backing to expose the glue was easy and they applied to the glass without problems.I've also really enjoyed the extra sound reduction.These work to muffle his door slams, stomping feet, coughing, yelling for his cats at all hours, and weird tapping sounds near my bedroom window.

Cheap egg crate foam, not high density as advertised. They are only 23 inches wide, not 24 inches, and they were 2 different lengths and not evenly cut on either end, so I had to cut them myself a little shorter to square them up.Adhesive stickers stuck to the wall fine but don't stick to the foam for crap. Ended up using double sided carpet tape to put up. In a word, meh.

My home has always been troubled by traffic noise and noise from neighbors outside, especially at night, which always disturbs my sleep. A few weeks ago, I decided to try installing soundproofing foam panels to see if this can improve the situation. The installation process is very simple, the foam panels are lightweight and can be cut to the right size as needed, which is very convenient. After installing them near the windows and walls in the bedroom, the effect is very obvious. The soundproofing foam panels effectively block out most of the outside noise, especially at night, I will no longer be woken up by the sound of cars outside and the sound of neighbors talking. The quality of sleep has been greatly improved. During the day, I can also focus more on my tasks without being disturbed by the surrounding environment. It's really great!

I got a pack a week ago, the foam was thick which is what I wanted. The paper was hard to remove from the adhesive, it seems to stick well.I got a second pack, same product and the second one is way thinner and there are no adhesives with them.Actual sound dampening seems to work well.

!**Original review below after update**!So I bought these and for whatever reason I had an issue with them. These things happen and usually you return and move on.Since that wasn't an option without a vacuum sealer I just thought I was out the money which stinks but then the company actually reached out to me to resolve the issue.They offered me 2 options and let me decide what was best for me which I did. Custom service that is proactive is rare these days and it doesn't matter if it's Amazon or a brick & mortar store it really has become hard to find a good customer service experience.Well this company stands behind their products and also their customers and will do what it takes to make things right which is why I bumped my rating up to 3 stars.Good customer service can sometimes be MORE important than the product itself. After all a product is worthless of the company making it doesn't stand behind it and I can happily say they stand behind what they make so give this a shot because it may not have worked for me but that doesn't mean it won't for you. In fact is probably will and at the end of the day they will work with you if needed to make it workI felt it was important to mention the great customer service in the review. They didn't ask me to I actually offered after solutions were presented because I was just happy to see good service. Lower the sound coming out of a room from surround sound and game chats over a headset. I also was hoping they would lower other sound from entering the room.I bought a scotch double sided tape and started mounting these everywhere and I basically covered the entire area that had an adjacent room bordering said wall as well as the door. I didn't notice a reduction in sound traveling either direction nor did I hear any difference in audio which you would expect at least slightly since audio isn't bouncing off walls as much.I then measured decibel levels again in both directions of "travel" and there was no reduction outside margin of error. I don't know if the issue is thickness of the pad or the actual foam material itself isn't dense enough.I see a decent number of 5 star reviews so did I get a bad batch? Is that even possible? I know they are installed correctly because despite it being essentially simple and without required planning or thought I still watched a reputable video about installing and whether I should vary the director of the grid lines and how often.So as of now I just can't recommend this particular product. I did my due diligence on installing and then measuring sound levels and measurements told me my ears were telling me the truth. Now I need to take them all down and figure out what's what. Hassle.. big hassle.

These high-density foam panels are excellent for soundproofing and thermal insulation. Easy to install with adhesive stickers, they effectively reduce noise, perfect for any home studio setup.

A lot of these reviews might scare you off by showing you that the foam panels you buy won't perk up after 24 hours. If they dont,STEAM THEM!I used my conair garment steamer and it worked in seconds to get crisp edges. I would not recommend an iron, sure steam comes out but you risk the hot plate melting your foam and causing a serious mess or injury. With a little patience and steam, these bad boys came out perfectly.
