RoyalConsumer 1005MC Micro-Cut Paper Shredder, 10 Sheet, Black

This is my second Royal Paper Shredder. My first one (Royal 100X) lasted 7 years and I put it through the ringer, shredding hundreds of pages almost every single day until I wore it out. I decided to try the newest 10-Sheet model (1005MC), basically the next generation of the model I previously owned and the results were even better than I thought.The 1005MC is better designed than its predecessor being lighter, providing smaller crosscuts and it's even a bit quieter despite having a more powerful motor. I love the new bin design which has a slightly increased capacity and a bigger view window, and the top loading slot is much improved from the front loading slot the 100X had. While I am very careful to not overload the shredder, I am glad there is a reverse feature in case of a jam, and the overheating shutoff is a welcome safety feature. Based on my personal experience, I have nothing but praise for Royal's shredders.

This is the second one we have owned. Very easy to use and works great. We wore the first one out after 10 years - excellent value!

Great micro shredder. Doesn't do a huge quantity of paper at once, but it's does great on the amount it can handle. Love the front sliding drawer... do not have to lift off the shredder like my last one.

It is a nice compact size, nice color, does the job . I’m happy

brought this product on 1/19/2022 for some reason I can not get it to shredd it will work in reverse but will not shredd I am sooooo tired of buying( and under normal use of shredding one paper at a time) shredders and they stop working I called cusgtomer service and they gave me a phone number in my area and told me to call and take there to be repaired if it could be repaired the reason I brought this Royal shedder is becusse I remember the Royal typerwriters and they were a good brand not so much anymore soo disappointed with their customer service you would think since I don't even have this item for one year yet they would stand behind their product soooo disgusted if you havde money to throw away this is the product for you from now on if it does'nt come with a protection plan I will not purchase the item
