A great little pan - does the job perfectly.
This appam pan does the job perfectly of producing those delicious, bowl-shaped breakfast treats from South India and Sri Lanka. The only improvement I can think of is that it could have had one long handle as the handles do become hot in cooking. However, wearing oven gloves overcomes this problem.

Does the job
Pit makes perfect appams but the plastic handles are quite small and heat up quickly. It also takes longer to make each appam, roughly 10mins. Have to use medium flame to prevent the flames from reaching over the pan. It's quite small but makes good egg appams because it has a nice dip. The shape is just dipped not too deep.
