Reminds me of snowflakes we made in elementary school art class
If I were asked to describe how I feel about this set of "pearl paper" snowflakes, I would say, "Well, errr, uhm...they're okay, I guess." Depending on which reference source I use, pearl paper is defined as paper used for "high quality photography" or a cardstock-like "paper with pearl fibers so it shimmers." Hmmm, I can't say the paper is high quality and there isn't any shimmer to it either. It feels like a thinner cardstock; it's just a paper with a little bit more "umph" to it, in my opinion.So...there are four different sizes and the designs are different for each size. There are very thin threads sewn to each snowflake so you can hang them individually or link them together since the thread comes out on both sides. The set I received was tangled with the edges being caught on each other. I had to be extra slow and careful to separate them. Even then, there were several that were bent out of shape. Though I worked carefully to smooth out the bends, it didn't fix all of them. These are supposed to be dimensional and once you fold open then fold each flake the required times, you get a kind of sad multi-sided creation. You will have to remove the cut outs on the larger flakes; I had no problems with sticking or tearing with this task but you'll have to be careful and patient to coax these into shape. I would love to say these are dainty and detailed but that implies a quality that I simply don't feel these snowflakes have. When they are all done and hung from the tops of doors, they look pretty enough as the air currents cause them to swing and twirl. I wish I could say these paper snowflakes are top quality and beautiful but I can't. I've seen better quality snowflakes made in fourth-grade art classes. I can't recommend these, and I don't expect them to last beyond this season.

Great for Elf!
The quality is great! The only reason I gave a four star is because one box was empty.

You get a lot.
It’s definitely a good value because you get a lot of snowflakes but you will need to do a little work. The larger snowflakes have cutout areas that you will need to push out and then you’ll need to fold and shape them. I like the look but I was hoping for less work. I would still still recommend this product.

Decent for the holidays
Every year we have a company department decorating contest. I purchased these to add to our decor. Only issue is you have to be careful handling them as they get damaged easily.

Premium paper snowflakes
These paper snowflakes are definitely premium. I could immediately tell that they were made with high quality paper. They were easily unfolded into the 3d shape, and I didn't have to worry about the paper bending or ripping because the paper was so sturdy. They definitely look nice hung up. I think I am going to add some white glitter to them for a little flare and so they are not so basic.

Big ones are nice, small ones are too delicate
The media could not be loaded. These are folded for shipping and neat storage, but that means you have to spend some time opening and shaping them. They're also pre-cut, but you have to remove the excess yourself. Once you've finished those two tasks, they are quite pretty and make for beautiful holiday decor. They're individually attached to thread-like strings so they automatically spin. The issue I have is the big ones are cardstock, so they're easier to open and fold. The smaller ones are thin and delicate. I already accidentally creased a couple of sides.

More work than I was expecting.
The media could not be loaded. The paper is quite sturdy and the snowflakes look nice!I wasn’t prepared for how much work this was going to take. The description says easy to assemble and I guess that depends on your expectations. These aren’t the type of thing you can open, unfold and hang. There’s four sizes of snowflakes and they have 6 “pieces” you have to fold them and crease them pretty hard to make them stay in the shape you want, and they try to kind of go back to being flatter-not a huge issue but just prepare your expectations. The large ones needed all the holes punched out-they’re cut so it was easy but again, wasn’t expecting to have to do that part. (See video) and finally, once you get the flakes opened and all the design punched out you essentially tie them together to create the strand. It’s great for customization purposes but honestly it’s more work than it feels like it’s worth. I’ll do it, because I don’t waste and it’ll be a cute winter hanging decoration but I don’t expect them to store easily since the thread is thin and the edges of the flakes catch each other. I think storing and re using will be quite difficult if you want to maintain them and have them look the same year over year. Seems like a one time use product and a greater time investment than I had hoped for-but they do look nice once you’ve done all that!

Beautiful winter snowflakes in a variety of sizes
These are cute, "pearl paper" snowflakes in different sizes with lots of potential holiday or winter uses. To make them 3D, just separate the segments and unfold them into a 3D shape. They're a little tedious to work with, but once you get going, things move along quite smoothly. Great for arts & crafts applications.
