Perfect size! HOWEVER... Everything will come unscrewed in your pocket (or wherever!) if you don't use pliers and tighten anything that screws in!

Update: Seller was very interested in how they might correct and say they have sent feedback to design team. I have a replacement pen now, and see why they don't just lock that pin in place -- it has to be removable in order to completely disassemble pen. SO, if you try to glue it in or something just remember to use something that isn't permanent. I would still recommend something to keep the pin in place though. After getting to really play with this pen (my first bolt action pen LOL), it is not only a good EDC pen but it's a great fidget toy :) Would I buy it again? Absolutely! For 10 bucks especially, it is well worth it as long as you take care of that pin. This would absolutely be a 4+ star pen, but as others have stated the button that actuates the bolt comes off easily. I wish I had read these reviews earlier or I would have put some loctite on the threads! But, now that piece has disappeared rendering the pen useless unless/until I hack together a way to make it work. If you buy one, put some loctite on that piece.

Ok, this may deserve better, but I'm going to go negative on this review because of two issues. First, it seems like good quality initially. The metal is solid and feels good. Until you try to use it. It's too slippery. The grip is not really in the right place. So, I added a couple small strips of grip tape. That worked fine for about a week, until it stopped writing. And I don't use my pocket pen much, maybe a total of less than one page of handwriting in it's life. Mostly just small notes, phone numbers, address etc. So, that might be a fluke, I changed it out for the spare refill. Great, it writes again! For one week. Actually less total writing this time. So for the price I paid, I got two weeks of use, and now another junk pen to throw in the drawer.

So i have both the Thrunite and the Olight Open Mini. I like both but, I think the Thrunite is far more sturdy and likely to stand up to being carried in a pocket on a keychain. The body is solid rather than open like the olight. It has a keychain hole where the Olight only has a pocket clip. Another nice thing is that it came with a spare ink refill where the Olight did not. The body of the pen is also more ergonomic than the Olight and nicer to hold. Overall I like this pen a lot and I think it is going to replace my Olight in my EDC for now.

I have used the pen for about a week now and it's just ok. Nice small pocket carry. Pen writes well. The small little case with the extras was a nice touch. The nubbin that presses the pen forward fell off and now the pen doesn't work. Overall I like my Fisher Bullet Space pen better. With the cap on the Fisher, the pen is longer and fits better in the hand. The ink in the Fisher pen writes everywhere, has multiple colors and tip sizes, and spare pen refills can easily be found. The Thrunite pen is short and almost doesn't sit in my hand. Writing with it is a bit cumbersome - about the same as using the Fisher without the cap on it. The bolt rattled until I stretched the spring out enough that I could get it to stop. The rattle was a bit annoying. The spring compressed after using the pen a few times, so I had to stretch it out again. The ballpoint insert is really short and I imagine it will be hard to find in the future. I wish the pen was a little longer, so it fit better in the hand and a Fisher Space pen refill would fit it. I don't see myself using the key loop, so eliminate that and that and extend the back a bit to make room for a longer pen refill and fit the hand better.

I like the feel and the weight of the pen it's it too small in the had and not to big for EDC it wrote great at home out of the package. But then I got to work a few days later and tryed to use it and took for ever for it to start writing the after that every time I took it out of my pocket the tip was unscrewing then I noticed the screw came out and now I can't use it but I plan on making a new screw or find one at work for the time being But over all I like the pen I'm not ready to give up on it just yet so I cant say don't get it but some thread locker is recommended

Good quality, had issue with one of the pens not writing (gapping) contacted support received replacement quickly good customer service. Received replacement A ok!👍

Build quality - Excellent, the pen feels very solid for something so small and light. The bolt action is crisp and easy to manipulate. I have a couple of Olight pocket pens and the bolt action is harder to use. Aesthetics - Very attractive but I'm not sure about the chain hole. It kind of bothers me and I never plan to use on the chain. The machined barrel is attractive and nice touch. The color (dark gray) is nice and will look good with any black knives or flashlights. In Use - It shares the same clumsiness with other very short pocket pens but no more so than the Olight or the Fisher Space Pen without the extension. But for ordinary quick note taking it's fine. Overall - I'm pretty happy with the purchase. It feels substantial and should be a faithful companion for many years to come.
