It takes me awhile to pull the trigger on purchases here and I am glad I took the plunge on Simply Modern. Some thoughts:Good5 warranty on parts, unexpectedFoam used in packing was wrapped, no trail of Styrofoam.The furniture pieces, while not uniformly marked, were easy to identify based on shape. Heads up, the drawer sides are marked left and right.Not so goodThe bags of nuts, cams, nails, etc were jumbled and unlabeled.I needed to use more than 1 bit on my screwdriver. If I need more than 1, I expect to be told.The back was a disappointment. I hate when the back is attached by nails. It's a sturdy piece but would have been better with a more substantial material.I know I sound really negative but I gave the dresser 5 stars because it is a great value. I was able to assemble the unit by myself in a reasonable amount of time, with experience and a good screwdriver set. The drawers are deep and the sides are real wood.

Bought two of these a year and a half ago to use as nightstands and LOVE them!!! Easy to assemble and very sturdy. The drawers are very deep and hold so much stuff. The finish is very nice and truly looks like a whitewash wood finish. Excellent quality!!

Heavy and easy to put together. I was looking for something inexpensive but sturdy and these nightstands work well for that. I bought two of these and they both look great. They will fit my space perfectly. It took me about 45 minutes per nightstand so not too bad.I’ll be adding my own hardware later once I’m finished with my space.

This nightstand is absolutely amazing, quality is great, it's nice and heavy and seems very sturdy. The height is perfect for me and my needs. The drawers slide in and out very smoothly. My only complaints are it comes so dirty! and putting it together? absolutely ridiculous nothing is marked and all the hardware is lumped together in a single bag making the process even longer. This thing would be a breeze to put together if things were properly marked. All in all, would buy again.

Wood color is a bit darker than the picture but that makes me love it even more. The grain is a beautiful deep-chocolate color. It's well made and very sturdy. It feels high quality and expensive and putting it together was simple because instructions were easy to follow.

Nice but It was unassembled, it wasn't easy to put together, but looks nice now

I needed a small dresser to fit in my son's closet for extra storage and purchased one. The dresser was strong , well constructed and easy to put together. We liked the unit so much, I decided to purchase another one for his room. When the second dresser arrived there was damage to the top panel from the packaging being damaged during shipping. I didn't notice this damage till after assembling the dresser. It is nice nice unit but wish I wish I would have seen the damage before I started assembling.

Drawer itself is nice. Wood is thick and seems better quality than others. Still, it's not amazing quality.What threw me off though was the fact that the pieces are not labeled. No stickers or anything. You just have to visually match the pieces on the paper with the actual pieces, which was a headache. I've never seen a company do this.Also, there is hammering involved for the back part of the drawer, which is also a first for me with these types of furniture. I ended up drilling my own holes anyway.
