Q: Is this bag big enough to fit my lunch and an iPad in?

Depends the width of the lunch (10cm), drink and ipad will fit .

Q: Is it too small for work?? Does it fit a A4 document?

I've checked. A A4 plastic folder just about fits but it's very tight. Loose sheets of paper would probably be OK

Not sure of the size of a mac book pro. Can fit a narrow A4 file in and just about do the zip up with a little bit of room either end, but it's a tight fit. ...not sure it would take a file which was full and still close.

No idea. Mine's light brown. It does the job.
