The candles are just as described by the seller. I added two AA batteries to each and the remote control works perfectly for both candle and light modes. The candles themselves are good quality and the color is attractive. I'm using them indoors and on a screened porch I believe they're sturdy enough for what I'm using them for and will last a long time. I'm so happy with them.

I purchased these 2 years ago. They look like real candles, especially when using the flicker function. I got these to go on an antique free standing candle holder which wasn't sturdy. They would often fall off and the battery casing would come out so I put them away. I lost one of them - the candle itself was fine but when the battery casing fell out, the wire broke. It's probably fixable but not worth the time for me. I just took them out to use for Halloween decorations and they look really great. Currently, they are in a foam piece that I cut custom spaces in so they don't fall. I have them outside and I hot glued the battery casing back in. Unknown how they will last or if the glue will provide a good enough seal against the weather. I have been using the remote to turn them on and off, which makes it convenient. I haven't quite figured out the timer function yet. One thing I noticed is that sometimes I have to get real close for the remote to work, but it's still easier than manually turning each one on and off. I paid $24 for them, which I think was ok. Will update if there are any issues. I took off 2 stars for the following reasons: they each take 2 AA batteries, which add up; the wire broke on one of them making it unusable; you have to get really close for the remote to work; the battery casings came out easily, it was due to a fall but not a huge fall so I question the durability. Will update if there are any issues. *****UPDATE 11/01/2024***** I'll be 100% honest and say I did not take care of these and they still look great. They stayed outside for about 2 weeks...I barely turned them off and the battery life has been great. We didn't have rain but the normal morning mist and no issues at all. The only thing is that some of them got warped from the sun (they were in direct sunlight), but they actually looked great like that for this particular project. No more issues with the battery casing since I got glued them. I added a star back. Would buy again!

the "candles" look great and pretty realistic (as long as they're off...). Also the flickering of "the flames" looks ok. However, I still returned these because the "flames" are waaaayyy too yellow/orange for my taste. I had ordered two double packs to use them on an advent wreath. I really liked the remote control (as opposed to turning all 4 candles on manually), but the very orange lights of the flames looked artificial/unrealistic to me.

Christmas present to myself. Great buy. Works well. Has dimming and on/off, flicker/still on remote. They look beautiful. Great around kids and pets. Convenient remote control. Versatile. Timer. Good battery life. Bright light, easy to use, lightweight.Decorative. Good in candle holder.
