Very good containers—just a heads‑up on size
I recently bought this 2‑pack of 1.5‑quart reusable tubs for storing homemade ice cream, gelato and sorbet, and overall I’m pretty pleased with them. The lids seal nicely and the bases seem sturdy—great for the freezer, and I like that they’re designed with ice‑cream use in mind (not just random food‑storage tubs). I found some expert articles that stress the importance of a tight‑fitting lid and a container built for freezing to avoid freezer burn and ice‑crystal build‑up. JT's Creamery +2 Serious Eats +2 The stackable design works well—it means one tub can sit on top of the other and it doesn’t feel like a freezer bulk‑monster. I’ve used one for a fresh batch of homemade flavor and it froze smoothly and scooped well. Here’s what to keep in mind: Although it’s labeled “family size,” 1.5 quarts is great but not huge. If you often make large batches or serve a crowd, you might wish it were larger. Because it’s a reusable tub designed for ice cream, the lid and seal are important—make sure the lid is on securely to preserve freshness and avoid freezer burn. Experts say keeping the container airtight is key. JT's Creamery +1 In the end: if you’re making homemade frozen desserts and want quality storage tubs built for freezer use—these are a smart buy. Just make sure you’re okay with the 1.5‑quart size so you’re not expecting something much bigger.

Great!
Great, hold a quart well, fit in freezer nicely, not glass which is what I was using before.

Easy to fill, (and even easier to empty), ice-cream containers!
Just what I needed to store my home-made ice-cream in! I like the double-walled feature, to keep my ice-cream cold while I am serving it! The containers come apart easily for cleaning and washing. And they stack well in my freezer, saving me space. The white top pops on and off, giving access for a nice scoop.

Made of good quality material
The containers are very sturdy which make it easy to scoop out the ice cream. The lid, however, does NOT snap on so it really is just a cover over the top - thus, the 4 star rating. I do like the elongated shape as they fit nicely in the freezer and can be stacked easily. I would LOVE to have a smaller size option as well - 1/2 the size. I like to make an ice cream base then vary it with different flavors, a smaller container would serve this purpose perfectly!

Love!
These are just right for my freezer. They stack well and don't take up a lot of space. Some of my nice cream freezes a little too hard, but I think that may be an ingredient issue.

My solution.
I have four of these and two more on the way. I have yet to have one break but I am pretty careful with them when stacking in the garage freezer. I have seen a lot of comments on fit of the lids and I agree. They are not a great can work loose and do not lock in. My solution has been to add a piece of saran wrap over the top before pressing down the lid. This works great as it eliminates the "air leak" concern, and also provides a tighter fit. Give it a try.

Wish they were slightly better quality
I really wanted to like these, since the Tovolo brand ones are so much more expensive, but I don't find these to perform as well. The lid doesn't seal as tightly, so I've gotten some ice crystals/freezer burn on the surface of my homemade ice creams. The plastic overall bends a bit without even using it - I've hand-washed every time I've used one of these, and somehow it still bows in the middle, making the outer liner and lid not fit well or at all. It's frustrating to try to get these together to use them. The shape is nice for taking a loooong, perfect scoop, and the colors are cute. I just don't find them to perform very well as compared to other brands. They're an ok budget pick, but I wouldn't recommend over Tovolo.

These containers have a good seal and hasn't allowed frost build up
Perfect size to fit my homemade icecream in. They stack together and go into the freezer nicely. The seal is nice and tight. It is dishwasher safe. I washed them several times already.

Don’t recommend plastic for ice cream containers. I broken the plastic with the ice cream scoop!
