Alright guys, this one comes with a bit of a story and I like to go as in depth as possible when I do reviews, so brace yourselves! I personally have very fine hair that is low porosity and type 2A (loose waves). On top of that, my hair has been thinning out for the past decade due to some health issues. The area I live in is also very dry and has hard water, which makes my hair and skin feel extremely dry unless I add various products to both to prevent that, and even then, it has been a beast trying to find anything that actually works. I have tried NUMEROUS conditioners and shampoos from several different companies, including brands like Prose that make shampoos that are specifically for your hair based off of the information that you provide and their algorithm gives them, and I honestly have just not been loving any of them. Most of the time, my hair instantly felt like straw the second after I rinsed out the shampoos I have washed my hair with. My hair also just would not retain any moisture from the conditioners once I rinsed them out then either air dried or blow dried it. My hair strands would also break very easily and I got a lot of scalp acne. I have tried using several different methods to help alleviate this issue like letting my hair sit under warm water for a couple of minutes before applying shampoo to help open the cuticles, rinsing my hair under cold water when rinsing out the conditioner, using deep conditioners (deep conditioners so far have been the only thing that has worked and left my hair feeling pretty decently hydrated), etc. In other words, literally nothing I have tried has worked how I needed/wanted until I went back to the basics and tried products that I used to use as a teenager and loved. This set of products was one of one of them! I intially purchased this brand of shampoo and conditioner from Walmart several years ago, before their product's label changed, and I remembered I loved how it smelled and how it made my hair feel.Two nights prior to me actually receiving and using these products, I was putting curlers in my hair along with some mousse to help my hair hold the curl better once the curlers were taken out. The mousse, which by the way, was supposed to work for my specific hair type, made the texture of my hair feel AWFUL and that is honestly an understatement! My hair was sticky and felt extremely dry, more so than normal, and the curl from the curlers did not stay either. After taking the curlers out, I went to brush out my curls, in order to help them blend together, and A LOT of hair was on my brush. I was so upset and definitely did not want to have this issue occur after I had previously freshly washed my hair which felt mostly nice and moisturized. At this point, I had had enough and I was worried that the Prose shampoo and conditioner I have been using would just make things worse since I was still having dryness, so I decided to give these products a try again. I just barely got this bundle yesterday, and I just had to wash my hair immediately! First off, the shipping was super fast, which was wonderful! Gotta love the fast Amazon, two-day shipping time! I cannot say enough good things about these products. Immediately after washing this shampoo out of my hair, I was just as floored as I remembered I was in the past. My hair felt clean, but not straw-like as it has felt for a LONG TIME! It also completely removed the residue from the mousse that I used as well, which was what I was hoping for. Then the conditioner! Oh my gosh! Even better! My hair felt super hydrated even after I rinsed it out with cold water. The only thing I did have a small issue with is these products did weigh down the waves in my hair because of the coconut oil in the conditioner, but I think that is because I accidentally used too much conditioner. I will definitely continue purchasing these products!

I randomly started battling really bad flaky, dry scalp. My head was constantly itchy and I was desperate to fix it. I did research and found that amongst some of the natural remedies- rosemary and tea tree were likely to solve the problem. So after reading the reviews on this shampoo and conditioner set, I decided to give it a try. (I also used the serum that is sold separately from this set)My hair and scalp felt significantly better after one use. I noticed a lot less flaking as well. After using it consistently twice a week for 1 month, the flaking and dandruff was gone.Aside from the fact that it worked exactly as I hoped it would, the price point and size of the bottles were a big selling point for me. I appreciate that I was able to find a solution on a budget. If you’re experiencing the same issue, I urge you to give this a try.

Great product, gentle and effective. Cleans my hair well. Note that you will not get tons of leather but it is still cleaning well. The pump on the bottles I received, however, are terrible. Still would purchase again, my hair is shiny, soft without being weighed down. My hair is very fine and curly and it handles it very well.

I am really enjoying this shampoo and conditioner. A little goes a long way. Been using it for about 2-3 months now and my hair is thicker, stronger, longer, less breakage , considerably less hair loss per wash.Just over all healthier hair. And it lasts a long time. So that’s another plus.. Will purchase again!! Highly recommend!!

Smelled ok, but didn't notice a huge difference than any other brand I have used.Bit pricey.

This shampoo/conditioner set is next level amazing! First off, it's a cleaner brand with a light scent, and even though the price has been going up for years, it's still affordable and worth every penny. It's the only voluming hair care I've ever used (and I've tried everything from expensive salon brands to drugstore brands) that delivers instant results when you get out of the shower. Before I put any styling product in my hair or dry it, the fullness and volume is noticeable. The conditioner never weighs your hair down and the volume stays for days if styled properly. The only thing I don't like is the new pump dispensers that give out like 50% of shampoo/conditioner versus what the original pumps did. But I'm pretty sold on these products. Nothing else comes even close to making my fine hair full of body for days.

Purchased for my daughter who can no longer find her favorite shampoo/conditioner.She has dandruff and has had it from infancy.This combo seems to help her hair.
