Easy to install! fixed the sloppy shifter!
Was a quick and easy install and can be done just by loosening the shifter cable. However it started popping off after a few months. Found it cracked. Got a replacement which is black in colour and it seems it's a newer improved version.Harder to install as well. Hopefully this will stand the heat

Perfect fit, excellent fix!
This works perfectly to fix the worn out shift linkage bushing in a Saab 9-5. So thrilled someone makes this! See before and after pics. Installation is easy just follow the instructions and can be done on the car. Just have to remove the battery and battery holder. Well worth the money for a permanent fix.

Works great for a short time
2006 Saab 9-5I bought this part and replaced my rotted old shifter linkage bushing. This helped the transmission become more responsive... for about two weeks. After taking it on a long drive for about an hour i pulled into a parking lot and put it into park. I came out a couple minutes later, started the car and my shifter just slid back and forth. This bushing popped out of place. I thought maybe it was too much lube so i wiped it dry and re-installed. Happened about 10-15 more times. After it sat for about 12 hours and cooled it started shifting. This silicone is not made for high heat for long durations and should be avoided as a permanent replacement.

I followed the short instructions the device came with, and voilà, my car came back to life. Easy, inexpensive fix!

Simply to install, fixed shift lever position!
The automatic transmission shifter in '08 95 was off for like a year.Pried out old decayed bushing, pooped in this one and viola. fixed.

Broken after 1 month
Installed it and within a 1 1/2 month it pops off. Find a different and better version

Superior Quality, Hard To Install On A 9-5
In order to do the instructions, one has to disconnect the cable on a 9-5. Since I was unable to do that, it was extremely difficult to put on. I had to make a modification to do it. I will be ordering another as to have my mechanic do it. It’s quality appears superior, so, once I have the new one put on, then, I’ll have peace of mind.
