Perfect headlamp for Auto Techs!
I have been using a couple Night Buddy headlamps for a while now. Love them but always felt they could be brighter, especially as the batteries wear down. A couple weeks ago, my tool guy came in with one of these Maxxeon Headlamps and I did a comparison: This Maxxeon has a much broader pattern and is significantly brighter (600 vs 350 lumens). The Night Buddy has cooler (blueish) illumination where as the Maxxeon is more of a neutral bright white.Battery life is acceptable. I can get about 3-4 hours of use on the brightest setting. Went ahead and ordered a second Maxxeon Headlamp here on Amazon to alternate throughout the day. The Night Buddies are at home now for household projects and side jobs. Highly recommend the Maxxeon Headlamp for auto techs or anyone needing both hands to work! My flashlight stays in my pocket most of the time now.

WOW!
For all my automotive technicians this is a must have. This thing is bright and won’t fall apart light the other hunk of junk light that are out there. On low it will get you through a 10 hour shift and still have enough juice for like 2 hours then next day. I never used it on high because like I stupid bright. The battery is located behind you and is comfortable to wear for long period of time. Your going to like it so much the you will buy a second one to have never end light.
