Follow the video!!!
I followed the video (even paused it a few times) and it installed perfectly. This is the first protective screen that I’ve installed that didn’t have any bubbles. Love the fact that it matches the color of the phone so know one notices you have a privacy screen.

this protector is 1) essentially invisible on the phone 2) It does not tint my iPhone 8 Plus like I thought it would
Ok, so I was skeptical as I haven't had a privacy screen for years and on a much older phone. But I have to say, this protector is 1) essentially invisible on the phone 2) It does not tint my iPhone 8 Plus like I thought it would. I use about 30-40% brightness and I can see the screen quite clearly in all conditions. I haven't been outside on a bright sunny day yet. and 3) I use a Benks brand case [very minimalist (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0778C9V8F/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1)] and these low profile cases, so far, doesn't seem to interfere with the screen protector. I'm stoked about this because I read so many failures in the reviews. Now I realize that if you're not a complete idiot trying to use a large case with this type of protector, you will be fine. And there's no shortage of idiots on the internet. Finally, the protector installed with the usual amount of breath holding and precision, but once on, it has great screen clarity and absolutely no bubbles. You do have to get this right so either do it right or ask someone who knows how to do these or just order two in case you biff the first one.

privacy works with brightness of phone.
I looked thru so many privacy screen protectors and read so many reviews and then finally made my decision with this one, and I'm pretty happy i did! I figured out depending on the brightness you have your screen on will determine how dark your screen is to the person next to you. So if it's on very bright the person next to you can see what your doing but just Can't really make out the words. But I'm very satisfied with my buy.

Not worth it, cheap product
Darkened the whole screen no matter which way you looked at it, effected the ability of the touch screen (wasn’t responding bad well), cracked after only one short fall, and then fell off on its own after only a month. It did however offer privacy....

On iPhone 8 Plus - Not trifocal friendly - not anti-spy
An actual screenshot looks good as a photo but to my eyes wearing trifocals, the actual screen looks slightly warped. Using on an iPhone 8 Plus. Deep breath and 😔 sigh, it’s just not for my needs. I wear trifocal progressive glasses with anti-glare - and cataracts - which means that I already have interference with my eyesight. Any extra interference is a very real problem. This screen protector is a problem. But first let me explain what I liked because this display protector may be perfect for you. Here is what I liked:* Perfect touch screen response.* It’s thick. I can definitely feel the hole for the Home button. This may be a deal-breaker for some people who like the sleek feel of the iPhone 8plus Home button. For me, I must push down hard for my skin to fit deep enough to register my thumbprint which for me is annoying. The design of the edge of the circle should have been smoother. But for you, that crisp edge may be perfect. As my eyesight worsens over time, the crisp edge may be a plus.* Sleek surface becomes invisible on the device.* Fingers slide across the surface without friction. Even with big bubbles, the device easily responded to my touch. I really liked this slide and glide effect of my fingers across the surface. Artists may appreciate this slick glide more than the regular user, but I’m spoiled after using this screen protector.* Very well packaged and designed making it perfect for gifting.* Every opening matched the iPhone 8plus almost perfectly.* The screen protector fit nicely under the device protector I already had. Here is what I don’t like:* It’s only anti-spy to me only when I turn my phone at an angle. At approximately 6 feet distance, the screen begins to darken. Anyone sitting nearby or watching over my shoulder can read the screen. I deducted a star for not doing what the marketing said it would do. For you, that may be just fine. I wanted you to know the limitation of the privacy which was not clear in the product description. If I turn the phone to the side, the screen turns dark which does block the viewing of the screen. Most people will be viewing from a sitting position. On an airplane regular seat, your neighbor can read your phone. I hope I made that point clear.* I don’t care what other reviewers say: This screen protector darkens the screen. My eyes are already light sensitive and my glasses already have a slight tint and magnification so, yes, I notice the details. On the positive side, the darkening effect may be good for the eyes. For me, I had to go into the settings of my phone to raise its brightness to bring the screen to normal. The directions should have included this advice in a troubleshooting section in the instructions. I am unsure how this screen protector will perform at the beach. Under a lamp, the screen protector has a mirror-like glare. Some people may like the background mirror effect.* The directions for installing are not clear.* The extra supplies for cleaning the phone are great. Somehow one tiny spec of dust fell upon the sticky part of the product. I could not seen the tiny dust spec on the screen protector until after I applied the screen protector to the phone. I tried to remove the tiny spec of dust from the sticky side of the screen protector, but at an angle in the light, I could see the lump formed by the tiny spec of dust. Wearing trifocals means that the bottom part of my glasses are like magnifying glasses. I see everything magnified - even dust.* There are bubbles. Big bubbles. I tried to smooth out the bubbles. I let the phone “rest” overnight with the hop that the bubbles would disappear. They didn’t. I don’t notice the bubbles until at an angle under a reading lamp, so it’s not a huge problem. I recommend doing some advanced research on how to avoid and get rid of the bubbles. It would have been a kindness to include this helpful troubleshooting in the instructional guide. I deducted a star for lack of clarity in the instructions. I’m not a mind-reader and aYouTube search did not help because they were selling the product, not troubleshooting it.In all, this is a quality constructed iPhone 8plus compliant device that will be perfect for some people’s needs. It is not friendly to all eyeglass wearers and dependent on the additions to the eyewear, this may not be the perfect screen protectors for people wearing lens with layers of protection already imbedded into their eyewear. I hope this review was helpful to you as you make your purchase decision. I have found that people are happiest with their online purchase when they know what to expect from their purchase.

Best screen protector for iPhone - Read the things to consider before you buy
I bought this one as a replacement for my older cracked screen protector. I always have regular screen protector [either glass or plastic film]. Since I am traveling a lot nowadays I thought of trying this privacy one.I got one piece of the screen protector. It has all the necessary supplies to put it on my iPhone. The quality is really good and fixed well on the screen. I had replaced screen protectors many times and I was able to do it pretty quickly. The best part of it is the smoothness on the side. My old glass protector is thick and bit sharp on the side. When I slide from outside it did feel uncomfortable. But this one is really smooth.Things you need to consider before buying this product1. This has only one screen protector and not 2 or 3 like we usually get2. You need to look straight through the phone to see it well. If you get a notification you can’t just glance it when the phone is flat and away from you. I do this a lot to check notification when the phone is on the table. So, it is bit annoying, but it helps me to not see the phone frequently 😊I am happy with this purchase
