Highly recommend it works awesome!
I have a 2015 Honda Civic that I have to use for a while and I’m used to a nice center screen. I didn’t want to spend $1000 to put one in so I tried this out and I am really impressed. Other than the cords that you have to deal with it works really well. Has a great speaker. Bluetooth is awesome easy to put in and starts up every time my car starts. I don’t really care much for the back up camera for the backseat, but it does work. It’s low image quality, but it works. Definitely recommended if you just need a solution and don’t want to spend a ton of money to have one professionally installed. I did a lot of research before I purchased it and I purchased the right brand.

Finally Android Auto in my 13 year old car
I was stuck with my car's outdated head unit, unable to upgrade to Android Auto, which was frustrating, especially after using the 2025 car I just bought for my wife with all its modern bells and whistles. That's when I discovered the Carpuride W903 Wireless Carplay & Android Auto with Dash Cam. From the moment I set it up, I was impressed by its sleek design and ease of installation. It mounts right on the dashboard and is very straightforward to set up. The screen is clear and easy to read, and even better, my steering wheel controls still work with it seamlessly. What truly sets this device apart are the extra features it brings. The integrated dash cam and rear cam are fantastic bonuses, adding an extra layer of convenience and safety. Now, my older vehicle feels modern and equipped with all the conveniences I missed. I highly recommend the Carpuride W903 to anyone looking to bring some modern functionality to their older car. It’s been a game-changer for me!

Great Carpuride unit, some design weaknesses in suction arm.
After doing quite a bit of research on the best option for an in-car touchscreen, I landed on this model from Carpuride. I've been using it a month and have been very happy with the actual touch screen. The Apple CarPlay feature works really well, connecting quickly, with very minimal lag, the colors are great, it's durable, and the camera (swivel sliding front mount) has a very clear image. The built-in sound is not great, but just ok in a pinch. All in all a good purchase. However, this review would have been a 5 star review except for the suction cup mount and how the Carpuride unit attaches to the suction cup arm. First of all, the suction cup function itself broke after three days use. This particular design has flaws with the little lever loosening suction when fully pressed down. The suction is strongest when the lever is halfway through it's movement- but it won't stay there. It moves on it's own and suction is lessened or lost over a short period of time. The other negative (which I knew about going in, but bought it anyway) is the method of attaching the Carpuride unit to the suction arm. It's a four-pronged sliding plate, and while very secure once on, it's quite difficult to both attach and detach. If you're putting the unit out of site each time you leave the car, this becomes problematic. Upon reflection, I wish I would have looked for a unit with a very strong magnet attachment method to the arm it rests on. All said, I would buy this unit again IF the suction cup design was changed (the arm itself articulate and works well), AND the Carpuride unit attached via a very strong magnet ro something comparable.

works as intended
After doing tons of research on aftermarket Carplay devices, I decided on Carpuride. I loved it so much, I got one for my sister. I purchased this w903 and then the w103 for her as she was already spoiled by her Mazda CX9 widescreen. Loving the wireless feature and the fact that I can record both the front and rear because of the many bad drivers in my state as well as the surrounding states. There is a delay on the backup camera if you are impatient like me when first starting your car. But otherwise, while it's already booted up, the backup camera works as intended. The calibration of the lines was a pain in the but that took me way too long to get just right, but now that it is calibrated, it is awesome. Parking in the city is now easier as I don't have to guess how close I am to the bumper behind me. Love taps are a common occurrence for anyone who has gone to a place with little to no parking spots. **Note for people who lose the ability to wirelessly connect: You will have to reset network settings and connect to the device again. It will also forget all your home and phone networks. Minor inconvenience. Only happened to me once. But this is indispensable knowledge as it took me a while to figure this out.

Hands Free CarPlay!
I love this thing. It gets me handsfree CarPlay in my 2015 Lexus LX. The front camera is a major bonus as well, especially in traffic. I’ve had it for about 6 months and it’s performing well. While there are some issues switching back from a call to Spotify, it does a good job everywhere else.

Have it for 1 year! It's great, both with Android Auto and Apple Car Play!

There are a lot of these wireless CarPlay devices available, and with so much competition I thought I would do a detailed review with this one. Pros: The installation was super easy to set up and connect to my Apple iPhone 12, if all you want is the front facing dash cam as long as you can mount it high enough you will get excellent vision out the front windscreen. The 4K resolution is amazing. The ability to raise or lower the front facing Cam or twist it slightly left alright, or Sleight higher slightly lower just makes it a fantastic choice for lots of different vehicles. I fitted mine to a Toyota FJ cruiser, I used the suction cup bracket to fix it to the top of my dash. Messaging; This is what surprised me the most, receiving text messages and using Siri voice command to be able to read the messages, and reply to the messages, with incredible accuracy. I tried it with my son’s Samsung galaxy android phone using Google assist, and I have to admit it was nowhere near as accurate using Google. But using Siri it was 100% accurate. Maps: again using Siri either with Google Maps, or Waze, voice commands were very accurate and the big screen makes it a lot easier for me to read the directions. I would buy it just for that future alone to have a larger screen. Back up rear dash cam: the second camera provided is also amazing quality, I have a factory fitted camera in my car and the quality on this thing is so much better. Connectivity: in my first car I have Bluetooth and still remote controls. So I have the W903 going through my standard audio in the vehicle using Bluetooth, I also have the iPhone connected to the car Bluetooth, this means I get to use the full benefit of the steering wheel controls, as well as the music is automatically muted if I get a call, or if I have navigation instructions. It works great. In my second vehicle, I don’t have Bluetooth so I am just using the built-in speaker on the device for calls and navigation, it’s not perfect, but it works well enough that I don’t have to touch my phone. Negatives: The instruction manual is not very good. The English translation is not that helpful, and I couldn’t even find any decent videos online on YouTube or on the manufacturers website. The reversing lines for the rear camera are not terribly accurate. I found it difficult to calibrate, even though I have a factory camera that I can compare it and try to use to calibrate, calibrating the rear parking lines is not easy. Again, I could not find any decent instructions or videos on how to do this, it’s a bit of a hit and miss. If anyone knows how to do it properly with any car, I’ll be interested to know. I did manage to do it in a second vehicle that I had because I was able to use the tow ball as a reference point when backing up. Installing the backup camera: I have two large vehicles ones an SUV ones a saloon sedan SUV is 4.9 m long, the saloon sedan is 5.3 m long, unfortunately in both cases the six meter camera cable they provide is too short and I ended up having to buy extension leads for both vehicles. Apart from that annoying oversight when they could’ve just provided you with a nine meter cable the installation of the camera is pretty straightforward. There is actually a half decent video online which gives you some good tips on YouTube. Tip I would provide is run the cable along your trim without having to dismantle the whole car and don’t get too fancy with running your cable you just need it to work. Overall, this is a great product. In fact I thought it was so good after I bought the first one I was so impressed with it. I bought a second one for my other vehicle. Adding that reverse camera to a car that did not have a reverse camera at all made a massive difference. As I said at the beginning of the review, there are a lot of these products around to choose from, if you choose this one, you should not be disappointed. It might cost a little more than the others, in my opinion it’s worth it.

Don’t have this specific product anymore as I returned to buy the bigger screen model, but this one was perfect as well. Easy to install, easy to use, good value for money considering the price of newer cars just to get the built in CarPlay feature, and very good functionality and connectivity options. Good brightness and picture quality, best audio connection through FM radio, good quality picture on the dash cam. The main thing I liked about this one over the model I bought and now use is this dash camera is centered which I preferred. Didn’t install the rear camera but it’s a good little size and connects up through the reverse light. But in summary, good priced product to bring an older car into the 21st century.
