Schleich Young Dragon Rider Figure

We haven't played with this yet, as it is a Christmas gift.It is very well presented in the display box plus a protective outer box. Quality of toy is superb and very solid. We have many Schleich items and they are well worth the price.

This is for a Christmas gift. I read the reviews before ordering and was not disappointed at all when it came. It is boxed beautifully, which will make it easier to wrap. The color and detail is perfect. I mean the details are incredible. Really a great product. I can see why my kids are always talking about Schleich products. Up until now, I never paid much attention to the details, but now I see how beautiful they are. My kids are 23 & 25...so these are being used as toys. They use these as models for their graphic projects. Great find!!

The dragon has good color scheme and exceptional detail, in a reasonably large and durable model. Detachable rider made the dragon model better as an independent model by itself.

My two girls absolutely love dragons and over the past year, this one has gotten a lot of play. Being Schleich, it's super well-made and absolutely beautiful in the details. The rider hasn't been played with much, but the dragon, after a year, still looks like new. I love that this one looks so friendly, as opposed to some of the other toy dragons out there.

These are absolutely stunning models. They are not cheap but then the attention to detail is extraordinary. Schleich are known for their great models and educational toys but this line of dragons and their riders takes their product quality to another level. I think they are hand painted, they certainly have that quality about them. They are solid built and there are no visible seams. I'm not sure how these models are made or put together but they are not hollow.The artwork is gorgeous. I originally bought a set of these dragons for my children, but when they were delivered to my office my colleagues were intensely jealous. It was hard to give them to the kids because these could definitely be used as both toys and works of art to put on a shelf.They come well packaged. In fact it took me several minutes to free the models from the box. They are wrapped in tissue paper and that is a sure sign of the quality that awaits when the box is unpacked.The riders can be separated from the dragon. They are not fully articulated. In fact in this one the child's arm moves and that is all. If you are buying for a young child / toddler then I would suggest keeping the rider away somewhere safe as the arm can be pulled off. Alternatively you can glue it in place.Any one who receives this as a gift like this will be overjoyed; adults and children alike. Anyone thinking of buying for themselves should not be put off by the price as these will definitely take pride of place in anyones collection.

My eldest daughter was over the moon with this gift. She loves Schleich toys and so do I as they are brilliant quality.

This figure is amazingly detailed. The colours is bright (but not brown as a pictures shown on the internet. It is red). I think this figure is very durable. I can't say anything about the paintwork durability, because I opened its box a few hour earlier. So I very glad to have it becuse it is a prcius piece to a big dragon fan like myself. [...]
