Solar Powered Arch String Fairy Lights. 4' Long for Landscape and Garden Decor

I made the biggest mistake ever. I didn't read reviews for this product. THE BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY EVER!! I have three of them and NONE of them work!!!! Please do not purchase these things.

They don't really light up as loops very well. I installed them in planters where they get lots of sun. At night, the base lights up pretty well but the rest of the hoop is fairly dim. They are three colors so that's as advertised but, as a fiber-optic look, they leave a bit to be desired. I'm going to have to examine them to see if I can improve them with a bit of aftermarket-engineering. Wife is unimpressed so far.

I have a lot of lights in my yards and thought these would be a great addition. I placed them outside and they worked great for a few weeks and were beautiful. Then they just started falling apart. The spikes broke, the connections from the solar unit to the wires came apart and this was with no touching or movement at all. The just don't last as they should in the weather. I would love to get more but don't want to pay again and have the same problem. Great when they work just cheaply made.

They arrived right away and look good. They do take some work to untangle. The wire connection on one of them was loose, but that was easy to fix with a little electrical tape to hold it in place. Other than that one, the connections seem pretty secure. The solar panel is quite sensitive to light. When I was untangling it and setting it up, the lights shut off and I couldn't figure out why. Turned out it was my porch light. Once I moved the panel behind a pillar it turned on again.

The lights are great, but it will take you one to two hours just to get the lines stright. The come in a twisted bundle and it's not possable to get it out right. We still have some that are tangled but it all right now as they are up. It's really pretty, but that one problem is a big one...

The lights are beautiful and add elegance to my garden. I gave a 4 star because once they come on they only last for 2 hours. I wish they would stay on longer as they are beautiful to look at.
