Noble Fine Wood Smart Jewelers Bench - Wooden Workbench with Drawers, Solid Wood Top, Power Outlets and USB Ports for Jewelry Making

Lost a cam bolt so am waiting for mftr to send another. Instructions are good, goes together easily. I wouldn't call this "fine" wood; the skirting is obviously glued-laminated, (lamstock) but it won't interfere with use. Have my new flex shaft ready to hang on my sturdy DIY hanger made of steel pipe.Update: I went ahead and ordered cam bolts (had to get 10, just needed one) from a fastener place and got them the next day from Amazon. Still haven't gotten a cam bolt from Noble Fine Wood and that makes this at least a week longer of having to wait to put it together if I hadn't ordered my own.Everything fit together well and the joins feel secure. Had to use wood screws to attach the bench pin, mandrels, arm rest attachment into the underside of the top; did so without pilot holes and they went it just fine.The top is too thick for my vise, so I'm attaching it to the side edge for now, which isn't ideal as it doesn't have much board in its grip so I'll have to amend that somehow. The top is quite adequate to the job, the legs are sturdy, the drawers work just fine. The skirting is cheap lamstock but looks okay and does the job, we'll see how long it holds up.Already installed my flex shaft and am pretty happy with things thus far. As long as all the glue holds, this will work fine. I don't think I would use a product like this in damp summer climate without a climate controlled environment. For such a condition, I'd want to use solid wood products only.

This is exactly as described, a solid entry-level workbench. I had no issues assembling the bench, but like many self-assembled furniture these days, the wrench provided is not good. You will need a 4mm Allen wrench (the one provided is ok but didn't quite fit the bolts correctly), a Phillips head screw driver, and some patience! Getting to some of the screws for the arm rest mount are a bit challenging. The instructions are clear enough, but remember to look for slots that the wood panels on the back and interior top shelf slide into. It might take some gentle tapping to get the panels in those slots.The bench itself is nice. The arm rests are not quite where I prefer them, but that depends on how high your seat is relative to the bench. There are no stops to prevent the drawers sliding completely out by mistake. These small issues aside, the bench material is solid. I don't think this is something a professional would want to use, but if you find this at a good price, it is worth trying as a first or hobby workbench.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a great bench at a great price! It arrived on time, and without the hefty delivery fees that you’d pay at the popular jewelry supply companies. It is larger than most basic benches, which is great…and I love the convenience of the outlets and charging ports. However, having them in that location does take up valuable real estate on the work area. IMO…It would be a bit better if they had it situated on the back side of the bench where “power box” is located.My husband was able to put it together by himself, although he stated that some of the holes weren’t quite aligned properly. Despite some of those challenges, the bench seems quite sturdy, the quality is good and it works perfectly for my soldering station. I’m glad I took a chance with this one.

I am a professional jeweler that bought this as a second bench to use in my repair area. For this price I wasn’t expecting too much since this one costs less than the desk I bought from Moderna Inc. over 20 years ago. This desk is nicer than my old one which has served me so well all these years. Fit and finish was better than my old one. Very impressed, and not a lot of the new jewelers tools quality impresses me nowadays. Highly recommended.

This desk is overpriced, you can purchased a less expensive desk in wayfair. The desk has a buit in drawer underneath which it make it difficult to get the chair closed to the desk. I had to work standing up. Unfortunately we cut the piece of wood underneath to get at least closer to the desk top and can not returned. Please save yourself a headache.

I bought this for my son who is studying the jewelers art. He is very happy with the bench, especially the catch tray. Tray provides good containment of metal filings for ease of recovery.

I’ve contacted the seller about missing parts and loose short shelf. This bench went together fairly easy but the directions were missing steps. The wooden or plastic plugs for outside holes were not shipped. The small short-shelf does not have screws to secure it. And the instructions don’t show how it is supposed to be secured so it is just floating there. The bench pin just slides in with no way to tighten it. I will figure out ways to solve these issues but it is something the company should fix.Otherwise this is a very nice jewelers bench and everything else is sturdy.

Nice surprise. I was skeptical but ordered it anyways. The workbench is actually some kind of hardwood, and is sturdy enough I don’t need to attach it to the wall. The plug-ins are very handy and all work. The floating shelf could use some glue on the top shelf. Drawers are only Brad nailed together so we will see how it goes. If I have any problems I will revisit this review but so far so good. Shipping was quick and it was well packed.

Bought this for my wife. Shes happy! It went together easily. Good instructions. Some extra parts left over. Good for if we need to disassemble for whatever reason. Very stable and solid feel to it. As a mechanic who likes to hammer on things its not that heavy-duty but according to my wife, as a jewellers bench goes its perfect.

Ordered 3 of these for a new shop that I'm starting up. Seller is super responsive to updates requests/support along the way.Benches are well priced and look awesome. I like the idea of power supplies running to the back of the table with room for USB or plugging tools directly to outlets on bench. Eager to start putting these babies to work!!
