YBS Insulation SuperQuilt Trade 1.5m x 10m

If you look at my review on the lights that were part of the order for the insulation, you will see that I converted a conservatory into a warm room. using this insulation. after receiving several quotes for over £4000, I decided to undertake the work myself. fitting the insulation all by myself is a pig of a job and the stuff is not very forgiving. it is however extremely thick and robust. a 10metre roll fits perfectly along a 3metre by 4 metre conservatory. with a lot of pulling and cutting. if you have the patience and the time it is well worth the effort. I stapled all the insulation to 32mm batons along the ceiling. then designed a wood frame to turn the pointed roof into a flat ceiling using tongue and groove boards. with some LED lighting. the whole thing cos just under £600. with the satisfaction of doing the job myself I have managed to increase the internal temperature by 4 degrees. I am very impressed with this product.

My fault I should have bought something more easily cutable ..

I've lined the inside of my loft with this. it was pretty easy to install, and has made my loft temperature much more stable.
