This is the one.
First, at this price you expect it not to work too well but to be effective every now and then. Expectations can be wrong however. I was using Sandolin floor varnish in a school. It's the one where you mix in a hardener. That stuff will burn lungs, eyes and skin. Basically, anything that breathes. (Yes your eyes and skin breath) It took us 4 days to varnish all the corridors and the hall. I had my goggles and this mask and ended up doing the whole job myself because I was the only one who could get past the fumes. One of the guys even had one of those hood set ups with the electric filter that blows external air into the mask to chase out fumes. That failed. Frankly, I think this is probably the best mask of it's type on the market. VOC's (very 'orible chemicals) are no problem... Yes I know a VOC is a volatile organic compound, but if you've read this far you might as well at least get a joke.I also have a bit of beard going on and still didn't smell any fumes. I do wear it tight so if I had to give a negative I would say that after 4 days of use it can get quite painful to wear, but I basically heroed the job to completion for my company and I'm being considered for promotion.So to conclude. It's good for your lungs and throat, it's good for your deadlines and it's good for your bank balance.The one I'm reviewing now is actually my second as I replaced the one I bought 4 years ago. I am really happy with this product and it's staying in my kit.

Best mask I’ve used for fumes
I’m very sensitive to solvent based fumes and this mask fits really well.Easily adjusted, doesn’t fog my glasses up.Fantastic quality and long lasting

Really works well
This mask is used when spraying paint onto model boats/toys etc and when using strong glues. Just marvellous, does the job exceedingly well. Frightening to see how much the mask protects you from the paint and you can breath easy when wearing it too. Thank you.

Just Brilliant
I use this for when I am airbrushing my aircraft models. Before this I used ordinary dust masks but could smell the paint & my glasses constantly fogged up. This 3M Mask is fantastic! It is comfortable, fantastically easy to adjust - and I really mean easy, I can breathe easily through it, I cannot smell the paint fumes and my glasses do not fog up. I have to say this has changed things for me - for the better. I even forget I have it on sometimes during a long spraying session. I can honestly recommend this mask whole heartedly.

A comfortable mask
I wear this when air brushing indoors. It's comfortable, and doesn't cause too much perspiration.
