Decent hand soap dispenser when they get you the right color
The soap dispenser is fine itself. I would give it 5 stars on it alone so just keep that in mind when you see the overall 3 star review I've given. I had no issue putting my own hand soap in there and it even is a nice dispenser that goes well with the space. My only issue however is that they keep giving me the wrong color. I ordered the black version that has a black top. Instead they keep giving me the wood color. I ordered 3 times and twice they gave me wood. Im not sure if the amazon shelf has them mis categorized or something but it took me awhile to get the right color. Just keep that in mind if you order this.

Really nice
Really nice soap dispenser that will look great in a bathroom or kitchen as the style is quite versatile. The pump works well and the bottle is easy to fill with liquid soap.

Love the tumbler, wish the pump was worthy
Many thanks, fellow hand washers, to you and the seller for the chance to check out Fun Elements soap dispenser and share my experience. As noted in other reviews, there's a big quality difference between the sturdy, appealing ceramic base and the not-so-sturdy plastic pump. While I love the wide mouth with gasket design for filling, my matte black top (correctly listed and delivered) arrived with a disconcerting rattle inside, which doesn't bode well. There's no rattle now that it's filled and pumping, but I don't have much confidence in its long term survival. For the time being, it does what it's supposed to, but I will update if/when I go looking for a replacement pump (if there even is such a thing).

Not too great
This soap dispenser felt just meh to me. It comes with the actual container part of it which was made of nice quality ceramic. The pump, however, was what destroyed this for me. It is made of a very lightweight and cheap looking plastic. The faux wood texture is hydrodipped which I could tell because there were stray marks on the underside of the pump and was not fully covered underneath the proboscis (?) of the dispenser. I also thought the color of the wood part was much lighter than I had expected based on the picture. It says matte black but it has a very clear wood pattern that is light brown. Underneath the proboscis, there was also a crack and the tubing that reaches into the cup was pretty short. The fitting was also pretty poor. It is designed to pop into place like the lid of a tumbler but when fully inserted, is uneven. For the price, I expected a better quality.

Nice looking except pump top
Looks great but pump top is not good.

Cool
This soap dispenser is very cool and cute. My favorite part is the top where the soap gets added. There's an area that can catch over spill if it occurs. The top twists off easily which is great. I recommend.

The top doesn't screw onto the dispenser.
This is a nice soap dispenser, however the top does not screw on, but instead is pushed down with a rubber gasket sealing it in place. The problem with this is that when it is heavy, full of soap, the top comes off easily if you are moving it by holding onto the top. Our grandchildren will often move our dispensers for easier reach, and I can see where this could be a problem. Because of this, I will be using it at a different sink than they use while visiting. Also, the spout is short, and the end of it is too close to the dispenser. You need to have your hand up against the dispenser to get under it, otherwise you'll miss the soap.I do like the look of it, and the fact that it is so easy to fill. It's unfortunate that the top doesn't screw on and that the spout isn't longer. Perhaps the manufacturer will rethink this design.

Points for style and concept, but materials and design have missed the mark...
I wish this could have been a good product, because there are two unique design elements to this that I really like: 1. a cap that doesn't screw on (sometimes makes for a messy refill) and 2. a wide opening for easy, mess-free refills (how novel! I love it... ). Alas..... I was taken aback by the chintzy feel of the lid when I unboxed it. I should also add that they sent me the wrong color cap. The material of the cap reminded me of eggshells -- so thin and fragile feeling. It all rattles around in an unsettling way. When you go to lift it off the base to refill it, it feels like it could just come apart in your hand. The nozzle is also designed poorly. It's so short and low that you have to jam your fingertips up to the dispenser in order to catch the soap. This irks me a bit. If it were an inch longer, that problem wouldn't exist. And I'm no snob. I've never spent more than ten bucks on a soap dispenser and don't have super high expectations. And still...I couldn't heartily recommend this one. But the base is very stylish and well made, at least. If you love the look of this, you might find it worth trying.
