Good Projector for Golf Simulator
I set a goal to improve my golf game from dangerous to just bad. I signed up for lessons, got a launch monitor, some cameras, and something happened, my golf skills improved. I then wanted to get a projector to show the golf shot so I could enjoy the process more.After a bunch of research I settled on this projector, and scored a Black Friday deal on it. ! It was super easy to setup and adjust to fit my screen size. It's about 9' from the screen projecting a HD image from a 4K signal. It's bright and clear.I didn't think I'd use the speakers, but discovered the sound is good enough so I consider that a bonus, as my past experience is the sound from projectors isn't very good.Overall a solid projector!

Great Projector!
Great projector. Replaced an old Optoma which was damaged by lightning. Much better picture than old one.

Better than my old one, much brighter
Very bright and clear. For some reason the display is larger than my last one which has the same throw distance. Even zoomed in as much as I can I had to move closer to screen and even then it is a bit bigger than the screen. Not sure if the specs are off on my old projector or the new projector, but both are Optoma and both show the same throw specs.I really like it though and would buy it again.

Quiet high lumen projector
Optima is a great projector company. I have always found their products reliable. The projector make very little noise with the cooling fan.

Good picture but not great volume
Picture was awesome in the well lit room. Roughly 25 feet from viewing space. Huge clear image. Volume wasn't great, would need an outside speaker or something

Not a laser projector but works great for a lamp
I bought this originally thinking it was a laser projector due to some of the photos showing a laser projector. This was misleading but in the details, it did say a lamp. It is bright. Nice picture. Works like all Optoma projectors, very well. I still returned it for a laser one since the price was only 100 bucks more. If I didn't really want to try the laser one, I would have kept this one and been happy. They need to take off the photos showing it as a laser projector though.

Defective in less than 12 months
The projector was nice while it worked. I started getting white dots to appear in less than 12 months. I would not recommend this projector.

bright picture but not much beyond that
I bought the unit from Amazon Resale as used like new. It came as a sealed box from Optoma which appears to be factory reconditioned. I have no major problems with the unit where the key factor of brightness is there but have number of issues with it. To start with lens cap is missing from shipment and the tiny remote comes with it absolutely sucks. Keystone correction on it is an absolute joke. The sound out of the speaker extremely weak and barely audible sitting next to projector. Also, the fan noise is very noticable when viewing it during the day with ambient light. If it fine at night but this was one of the major selling points for me and I feel like I was short changed.
