Got tired of looking at my open little plastic dollar store garbage can in bathroom. I decided to break my piggy bank and spring for this. Don't know how well this will hold up with the latching if it tips over. I do not think I will have a problem. My dog is not a garbage surfer. I like that they give a small extra little latch. I was wondering what it was when unboxing. The only thing is I do not like the black garbage bags given as an extra bonus. I think it detracts, white would of been better. I'm glad it's not the automated one with the sensor and need of batteries.

Just what we needed! We discovered that one of our dogs got into the trash, so we decided we needed a small, covered trashcan for our guest bath. This trashcan suits our needs perfectly. The size is small (about a foot tall and about 6 inches wide), but it fit our space just right. It fits in between the toilet and vanity easily which is what we needed. The capacity is good. It is not large, but it holds enough for a can that is emptied often. The button to pop open the lid works well and is easy to use. No loud noise when the lid opens. We didn't need a motion detection lid since the dogs may be able to trigger it and open it. So, this push bottom works best for our needs. Cleaning is a breeze. I highly recommend this trashcan.

I love this little garbage can! It can be very discreet next to chair in family room when you are sick and going thru tissues. It is easy to open with one finger and seals those nasty germs away!

It is a nice size for our half-bath and does a good job. Would like the lid to stay open a little longer than six seconds -- maybe 8 to 10 instead. We are using new Duracell batteries and the unit is functioning well.

Perfect for small spaces, I especially like the extra open gadget that holds the top down I also like those on the Sid’s that keeps the bag inPlace, one negative is the top lifts to empty so you have to hold the very bottom of the can / or the lid will come but the trash won’t not a big deal just thought I’d put in the only negative thing I can see, I bought two one for my bathroom and one for beside my bed

I like this trash can. I have two of the old model from a couple of years ago and just purchased this one. I like the push to latch lid design particularly in the bathroom because trash cans in the bathroom NEED lids and the step to open ones are a little useless when I'm sitting on the toilet and trying to toss a tampon. Or when I'm in the shower and need to reach over to dispose of a glob of hair. Which is all to say that this trash can fills a need that other similarly placed products fail to do and I'm glad it does, I would even buy it again.BUT.They shipped the stupid thing with the latching mechanism installed (B) which banged into the lid - presumably during shipping - and broke off the latching tab (A). So immediately after unboxing, I had to break out the super glue to make the lid latch (the KEY benefit of this product) work correctly. Which was disappointing. Thankfully it seems to have worked, so I don't need to return it or replace it, but the seller should really consider shipping the item with the latching mechanism uninstalled - they already include a spare in a little baggy, just put them both in there. Or pad it better I guess, but that seems difficult since the lid was even taped shut.
