Jacques Herbin13015T - 30ml Bottle of Ink for Fountain Pens and Rollerball Pens - Bleu Myosotis

This ink flows very well and is extremely clean in the pen. It writes as a medium blue but transforms after a few hours into a muted lavender. The ink is not highly saturated but shades well. As with many pens some inks seem to hit the spot better than others, but this ink completely worked with my new OMAS pen, unlike certain other well known brands. The only real problem is the bottle which does not easily accommodate piston fillers after the level has gone down a bit, so I decanted into an old Montblanc bottle.

The ink itself is wonderful quality, as J Herbin inks always are. However, the colour was simply a denim blue (like the blue ink cartridges I used to use in school), rather than the pale lavender-blue that I'd expected. Useful, but not eye-catching.

Good condition packed we ink is a nice sample. Recommended. Not too dry or wet. (Lamy 1.5mm)
