Longtime customer - almost perfect for my 8lb & 10lb fur babies!
When I saw that Amazon had a $20 off coupon for these I had to stock up and snag a few for my pups! Especially since it made them completely FREE! I absolutely love Walkee Paws!! I’ve been purchasing them for 2 years now and have been through it all. When they changed their designs, sizing, and prices! Usually these are $40 a pair, so getting them for free was a deal I couldn’t resist. (To be honest, these should be priced at $20 regularly, $40 is insane considering the owner admitted on Shark Tank that they only cost $4.40-$5.20 to make!) Walkee Paws said that there was a manufacturing error, but these are absolutely perfect for my pups.My fur babies are 10lb and 8lb respectively, they’re Shih Tzu/Maltese mixes and have petite paws. Previously, I purchased them Walkee Paws in size small since they were the smallest size available at the time. These XS Skinny ones fit them perfectly and when adjusted correctly, they can run/jump around without any of the leggings getting loose. With the size small ones, my girl would always get at least one leg loose! Not anymore though! :) It seems like Walkee Paws also updated their leg draw strings which is nice too. They’re much more sturdy and made of way better material than before. Everything works and looks premium now.My only complaint with Walkee Paws is that I wish the rubber bootie went up half of the leg and was thicker. I live in the Midwest where we get 6 months of cold weather, so winter is very long and then we get hit with tornado weather and heavy rain. In high snow, water can easily sink into the fabric material of the leggings and cause my pups’ feet to get cold and wet. And since the rubber is so thin, the booties are prone to holes. To mend this, Walkee Paws offers $5 patches, but I instead purchase a pack of 20 bicycle patches for under $5 and glue them to the inside of the booties where my pups’ nails and paw pads are. That seems to prolong the life of them.Overall, I’d rate Walkee Paws a solid product and a winter/rain staple. There are some flaws, specifically with snow, but I would much rather have my fur babies wear Walkee Paws for foot protection than have them wear them without. Their price is unfortunate, but when adjusted correctly, they will stay on your pup and work as intended.

Not worth it
The media could not be loaded. While intention to produce something helpful for your dog is there, the quality of these paw protectors is not worth the price point and their function is poor. While not mentally challenging to put on, 'easy-on' description is a bit of a stretch but most importantly, shoes do not actually stay on. The 'hosiery' shoe cups attach to is also quite flimsy (you can hear threads ripping when you tighten for fit) and the "fit" does not stay set as cord locks are weak/cheap. Obviously, you'll never lose a shoe bc shoes are tethered, but shoes consistently slip off both our large and small dog during walks. While this predominately happens with back paws, both dogs have stepped out of front shoes as well. There is an awkward, plastic heart w a thick plastic QR code tag to set your dog's "fit" though the "fit" does not stay set and the heart cord lock mechanism gathers hosiery fabric roughly into a 'knot' on top of your dog's spine, which not only seems uncomfortable but constantly loosens and the "knot" makes it difficult to coat your dog (which is the only way these contraption stay on). Currently, design has all four shoes attaching to that single "knot" atop your dog's spine, stretching rear leg's hosiery like a diagonal tightrope to back paws. Design desperately needs to separate front paws straps from back paws, adding a strap bracket for front/shoulders, a second strap bracket for back/hips and connecting those to an adjustable strap bracket running up/down spine; four shoes attaching to a single point is poor design. The spandex collar attachment is also extremely flimsy and is losing elasticity after a few times of use. Shoes are extremely thin rubber without insulation as well so know they do not provide any warmth, only protection from salt. Even in size large, shoe 'cups' run small and the whole contraption does not seem to be made for active/serious/extended outside- walking or play. We have to stop multiple times per walk to reshoe and jury-rig them to stay on. Hosiery is not water repellant/resistant so 'stockings' are soaked within minutes of being outside. Not happy but first world issues to have.
