It is what is says it is.
It's classic, looks nice, sturdy, and easy to connect the 2 parts. If only Ikea furniture was like this.

Could be a little wider at the base for large rolls
No top holder. Not wide enough for large rolls.

What is more basic, more simple than a paper towel holder? This one takes simple to the next level. A wooden stick screwed into a wooden disc. The thing that gets it 5 stars is the fact that it is sturdy and performs it's simple purpose perfectly. I had another wooden P.T. holder that wobbled and the screwed in dowel spun around due to a too small screw for the holder. Some people have wished this had that littlewooden prong that is supposed to hold the towels in, but I find that those things often make using larger rolls impossible.I have just written all of this about a paper towel holder. I am going to lay down now.
